Still the 4k in the KE? I saw the side-draught there...

Once you go black, you'll never go back .... cars I mean :-) My last three cars have all been black manuals. Hard to keep clean, but look really mean :-) Very straight looking Altezza too.

pics were taken at a friends house, that ae101 was my daily driver before I got the altezza, the guy bought it from me. thats his ae86 then.

good idea or bad idea to replace my standard steering wheel (with airbag) with a new nardi? opinions?
also i have 3 52mm omori guages, id like to fit them above the air vents in the centre console in a cf surround, where can i get one that will fit there? thanks!!!

For the guages you can try looking for a TRD holder, but they are very rare, someone on this forum made their own with a spare tray and a wrx holder. Came out looking very nice.

If you get a steering wheel without an airbag i think you will need to get a trd airbag canceler so you dont get a light flashing on your dash constantly.

Only thing is, like the TRD holder, it only suits 60mm gauges instead of 52mm gauges

nice, a bit chunky for my liking but might look alright, especially if you change the blue air valve cap to a gold coloured one :)

Just bought a set of these in Japan, offsets aren't amazing but they'll do for now!

havent seen them on a black car but theres a blue tezz (not mine!!) in palmy north with these on and it looks pretty gay with them....my opinion anyway, factory ones looks better than the euro ones.

So guys, a year ago I sold this altezza and bought a 320bhp year 2000 Subaru Impreza Type R WRC edition running 320bhp. Was great fun and very quick but I only ever planned on having it for a short while due to the running costs. I sold that car last week and at the weekend bought back my old Altezza!! The guy had fitted Tein coilovers, 18'' Rota's :(, a full leather interior from a lexus is200 (which I love), carbon wrap in a few places on the exterior :( carbon headlight covers, he let the headlights go very bad again, changed the altezza grille to a carbon one and drilled the boot to fit a carbon rear spoiler. I plan on leaving the suspension as it is, the interior as it is and get rid of the carbon rear spoiler, carbon grille changed to standard, change the rotas to 18'' bbs lm replicas if I can get them in an altezza fitment, leave it slammed, clean up the headlights again. After a few days of driving it I can safely say I'm glad to be back in my old Toyota :)

20valve engine is away at the mo being opened up, inspected, cleaned down, headgasket etc. wiring is being sorted, rs chita fitted etc. and hopefully ready for our Japan-style AE86 festival being held in June at Mondello Park.

you ae86 is one of my favorites! so so mint!

I just sold my AE86, I regret it heaps, since I just got a BEAMS engine for it.

Hachi obsession. I have to go to Ireland one day, just for the AE86 culture.

I know L tuned sells the gauge holder but at $700USD a pop, its a bit too expensive.

I will see if I can get a copy made up from mine at a decent price.
