Hi Guys,
I just purchased a Cusco Rear Trunk Bar from NZ GB and just wondering what is the best position in the rear boot which give more perfomance.
The below is the picture of rear trunk (bolt into number 1 or 2)
Your help is much appreciated, thanks

I'd Say No.2, that's where mine will be going

x 2.

#1 would cut the usable boot space in half?

Thanks Lexism & Nick...that what i'm thinking off too but i just worry that it won't give much handling...

Here is the picture....can't tell much on turning the corner unless you using full potential (turning at 100km/hr corner). I think it will be alot better if the front and rear bar completely installed.
Pls note: (my bad) the instruction come with the bar has shown how to install and i forgot to see the figure pics. Could not read as japanese words...

any noticeable difference with the bar on?

I would imagine no as the placement of the bar is not on an area I would consider a solid part of the chassis. I could be wrong. I think the underbody bars or a complete rollcage will provide noticeable difference in handling.

Yes when you open the boot there is some more bling!

Plus it would come in handy to tie your shopping bag on so they don't fly around through the boot :P

actually, I have a bungee cord in the boot and use it to strap my groceries and/or esky to my Greedy strut bar. ^_^

the space between my strut bar and back seat are used to secure and support 2 x 10ltr fuel canister as well to stop them moving around. B)

yeah....i'm thinking to use it to trap my groceries too.... :P
i can feel slightly with handling, but won't feel the difference much unless i using full potential. ie going through a corner at 80 - 100km/hr

in theory, stiffening the rear should induce oversteer.
