Hi guy's,

Just joined the team due to the recent purchase of a 1999 RS200 manual.
Has good k's so I'm becoming acquainted with the "new noises".

I've been a Toyota fan for some time now and my last toymotor died an early death, way to early. Long story short a truck spun the car down the motorway and I ended up against the inner rail with a bent chassis.

With insurance it was an easy choice for me to upgrade.

Current "personalisation's" include smoked side lenses, smoked boot hatch brake lights, LED break lights - looking forward to some HID / LED lenses landing in the country.

Car sits on 18" BBS rims with Nankangs.
As I've just got the ride it will be going in for a gearbox oil change and diff oil replacement.

Already been reading the 3000-2700 rumble thread +1 here tongue.gif

Yeah mate, will be coming.
The rear end definitely looks more up to date with a "executive" feel to it at the moment, I think lowering the ride will make that -phat- look.

Just got off the phone with shock shop, they guy there has two Altezza's one with supersoft and semi hard. Recon's the supersoft are better on the open road and without going down the coilover route (out of my price range for a bit) TIEN lowering will drop about 35mm and 45 in the back, he's done a few now.

Still won't be wheel on arch look but close enough.

Quick question, how do you tell the RS200 variants apart?
I have the snow & traction control button, also the navigation and a bigger plus LSD.

Are these all standard to every RS200 ?(Not the LSD, I have read my chassis code)

Well the RS200 came in the normal, z and L edition.. Check on your chassis plate.... It will say nothing, Z or L in the end of the model code. smile.gif

I believe the 6MT RS200 comes with snow button standard, the traction control and LSD is standard for Z editions..

Mine's a 6MT Z-ed and I have the snow, traction control and LSD..
So probably the navigation system is optional smile.gif

Mine is a normal one yet has all the options minus the super live sound. So really only way to tell is the chasis plate.

And Welcome!! Were you on Toyspeed? With the Carib?
