Here is my new Drag Racing rims. I used to race on a set of 17x9.5" Supra rims with 275/40/17 Mickey Thompson ET Street Radials.

Unfortunately they were stolen so I had to rethink the setup.

In drag racing - sidewall is everything so Ive specced out some 15 x8 WELD Draglites.

6.5" backspace results in a pretty good fitment - a little conservative by normal wheel measures but keep in mind it will have a massive tyre on it.

I never would have thought the rear caliper could interfere with anything but in this case Ill have to run a 5mm spacer to clear the brakes!

The tyres are yet to arrive, but will be 255/60/15 MT ET Street Radials.

AND they only weigh 13 lbs each. Thats 5.9kg!

The tyre will weight 30lbs. So total of 19.3 kg for wheel and tyre. Not too bad for a massive balloon tyre.

I don't need the front runners with a radial rear tyre. Unfortunately, I can't get front runners off the shelf that will fit over the big brakes anyway.

Awesome, have yet to see 15s on the back of an Altezza.
Haha backspace, such a V8 term.
Run space savers up front for added dodgyness.

Nothin dodgy about this setup. I don't think id want to run a fast pass on a wheel designed for 80kph, so the space savers are not an option. I'll have to custom order some fronts if I go down that path. Unlikely seeing as it should do 10' s on radials easy enough. Then I'll get booted never to run again.
