Oh... a twin-plate racing clutch perhaps.... burnout2.gif

I would suggest talking to anyone who races at Manfield.. w00t.gif

To be serious Al, it was Trade Parts who were organising the bulk buy of lightweight flywheels & clutches before TRD offered the same through Manukau Toyota.

A Trade Parts branch down there would know who handles racing clutches & they would supply the Exedy parts needed. Exedy make the Cusco & TRD stuff under contract anyway.

So 285RWKW give a twin-plate a hard time!! w00t.gif

Thanks Keith,i will take it to them this week and see what they say.

I don`t think it matters about the HP for the clutch i think it wears out alot faster through stop/start traffic driving...another good reason to leave Jafa land tongue.gif

Took it to a brake and clutch place here and they could adjust it thankfully biggrin.gif

But they did say there is not much left of it.

speaking of cops.....there was a speed camera van parked right outside my work this week so being a nosey prick i tapped on the window .Inside was a very friendly retired cop now just doing that gig part time.
It was very interesting to see the computer/camera inside. He just tells the computer which spot he is in(there are 84 in the Taranaki area) and the computer does the rest.Being in town the speed limit is 50kph so the camera snaps cars over 61kph.In the 7 hours he was there about 7000 cars went by with 51 photos being taken with the top speed being 76kph.

He also told me that this was the only mobile speed camera for the whole of the taranaki area ohmy.gif

Anyway was good to know..

Good stuff. Nice to know the guy on the inside was happy enough to talk. Below is a pic I took on a road trip with a mate of mine. It was just on the way into Cambridge and I spied the camera car and pulled over to take the pic. Guy in the car laughed at us!
Personally, I don't have a problem with obvious speed cameras as a deterrent. The hidden ones I reckon are a waste of resource. No-one's going to slow down if they don't know the camera is there. As a result it's just revenue gathering.
Cheers
Tania
