First few steps HERE should help (right click and save as)

Might pay to just mask up the sides as most can get a few scratches etc when removing the old headunit and aircon unit

Feel like a road trip ?,
maybe i could volunteer some time to help

A few things to consider before starting.
1, Are you removing the factory head unit and replacing it, or an already existing aftermarket unit
2, Do you have the super live sound system ?
3, Will you be running new wires for the new front and rear speakers ? (highly reccomended)
4, Buying a *break out* loom from supercheap/rapeco etc makes the whole wiring/tracing thing soooooo much easier
5, Provision for futher expansion, Subs screens etc

Nothing like getting part way through the job and needing to go buy that one something you overlooked, the men in blue look at you a little sideways when they see your car in a hundred bits and wiring hanging out. ohmy.gif outside a shop or on the side of the road unsure.gif

*cough, erm, yes ocifer i was just.... um... er.....* (not speaking from experience.....maybe) smile.gif

It might look like you are rapidly un-installing a stereo from the car for personal gain. laugh.gif laugh.gif

lastly good luck, enjoy .

Ahaha that happened to me once, luckily Repco is on the same block as me so I just drove there through the backstreets,

And yes definitely mask up the console, mine is horribly scratched due to the shop that installed my gear not masking it up >.<

Get a repco breakout loom as caveman suggested and splice the loom you got with the sony into the loom for that, all you have to do is match the right wires together, will be a wire list with your headunit and with the adaptor, get them and it should slot straight in smile.gif
