New Car Platform Nearly Done

Hi all
I know its been a while, been quite busy running my company but i have been working on the car platform

what i would like from the community is some input on what you would like to see in this website as it will hold all information on your cars / images / mods and so forth.

what i have added into it so far:
Mod manager
car manager
user manager
meeting manager = so you can post meetings and members can signup to it

so anything will make my life easier.

now for the main bit

here is a latest image from the new site WIP, as i have engineered the website layout to make it modern and will work on all browsers.

Update:

added vehicle commenting
so you can comment on a members car and it will show up on the main page of the website.

i have set a text limit so if it goes over 30 it will cut any text over 30 chars max with long into a ... but when you view the comment it will all be there.

Image 3: If VIP check code is correct


Image 4: when you fill in the form, auto return to see if there is something in the database


The system will then send a automated email to you then you click on the validation link to activate your account.

Currently in the VIP testing you will have to activate your account then a admin will have to verify that you are a vip member before you can login.

once you have been verified by a admin the system will then email you to tell you that you can login to the website.

Looks good. A few ideas:

- Mobile web browser friendly.
- Option to log fuel usage, economy etc. Graphs.
- Record car services, and forecast when next service is due based on kms entered by fuel usage.
- have privacy option levels.

Umm why COPPA? thats a US only law? if the server isn't hosted in the US and doesn't target children under 13 in the US (how many of them are seriously interested in tezzas :S ) then there is no need for that screen. Its just an annoying extra step!

good point jtmiller, the server is hosted in the USA lol on my dedicated servers i have there. that is pretty much why it is there, but easy to remove

* site will have mobile option in the future
* fuel usage, economy with graphs may come later requires extensive coding
* privacy will be on the platform from beta (LIMITED)

Once website is online the VIP Verification code will be in the VIP Lounge, you MUST enter this before the website will allow you to register.

I will be adding the rest of the code over the next couple of weeks, once done the site will be open to the public to register.....

looking nice man,
but i have to point out, im not really a huge fan of the like/dislike thing

the car forums are a place to express your like of the same thing, not judge on each others choices. but thats just me.

Sorry all been quite busy.
I have finished coding the vehicle preferences and are working on the mods atm.

Added: image uploader to featured image max size set to 250kb

user folders are generated on signup, these folders cannot be access directly as they are hidden unless you have full meta link.


Automated folders are generaed for all you vehicles within you random generated acc uid


Generated folder to hold all your vehicle pictures, mods and so forth

Update:

I have finished almost of the modifications manager.

Below image is all the modifications for the selected vehicle


Below image is the details editor for the selected modification where you can customize different options within the mod.

Also attached images to the modification, you can click on the little camera icon to bring up the image container.

Its going to be a nice feature for the Altezza Club Community.
at first it will be small then over time once i have added all the other features to the system and it is release to the public to use then it will be a very useful tool.

Im happy to improve on the current altezza club, it fun and keeps me sane when im not coding applications and websites for customers.

You can choose between uploading the images directly to your account or using a image hosting website.

Update:

I have finished the Image manager where all the images for your vehicle including mod images are shown, so you can remove some if you no longer want them.

If the images are stored on your account then you can delete them from the server.
i have also added the limiters for security so no one can go all nuts on adding images.
