hey guys, been looking around for some mags for the tezz. everythings standard, standard springs/shocks the whole lot.
and since i have no experience with offset and etc i need to know if any of these wheels will fit my tezza with no problems. there is 3 i have my eye on and need to know if they will fit or not one is 17x7 5x114.3 offset 34..... http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/car-parts-...n-467213543.htm another is 17x8 5x114.3 offset 28...... http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/car-parts-...n-468066237.htm lastly, 17x7.5 5x114.3 offset 45...... http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/car-parts-...n-467135176.htm i am aware that some come with no tyres, but is okay as i plan to use my existing tyres. and am aware that i could stretch my tyres a little if i were to buy the 17x8 or 17x7.5 But PLEASE GUYS! need to know if those offsets will fit on my tezza or not Thanks, Harri -------------------- 2003 RS200, Untouched 3SGE, CF Blitz Eyelids, CCFL Halos, Work Meister S2R,

They will all 'fit' Just the 17x8 +28 may need some guard rolling.

HAHA wow, i only just noticed that! thanks for telling me. i couldve done something really silly!
haha so out of the 2 wheels, (not the 17x8 +28) which of the two would best suit my silver altezza 1C0 ( common i know http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/car-parts-...n-467213543.htm or http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/car-parts-...7135176.htm#qna -------------------- 2003 RS200, Untouched 3SGE, CF Blitz Eyelids, CCFL Halos, Work Meister S2R,

I prefer this much more than the other link. Simple and nice. With rim fitment, I'd still do a test-fit beforehand no matter what.. -------------------- |

Just be careful with changing your offset. Whatever wheel you decide on make sure it doesnt increase your track by more then your local authorities let you or you'll end up with illegal wheels and a defect notice...
here is a really handy tool to measure your track and offset http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp |

oh okay thanks, i went on that website/calculator with the standards being 7inchs and offset is 50 and the new wheels being 7.5inchs and offset is 45 calculates too : Inner Clearance 1mm LESS Outer Position EXTEND an extra 11mm that should be okay right ? btw i have chosen to get the Work Meister S2R's -------------------- 2003 RS200, Untouched 3SGE, CF Blitz Eyelids, CCFL Halos, Work Meister S2R,

Low offsets and deep dished wheels belong on Silvia's, skylines and Supra's. I would like to believe the Altezza is in the next generation of "euro sports" even if it is infact a Japanese car but the slight concave looks so well on the Altezza.
extending 11mm will be more then ok. As bry said 7.5 with a 45 offsett is kinda weak. Go for a 8" front 8.5"-9" rear that doesnt increase your track more then what your local laws allow. And whats with the 17" love? why not go for some 18" wheels |

because of my money situation haha im only getting the work meisters because they are cheap, and my original tyres can stretch on to the works. but my car would be sweet with them on aye ? even if i have to fit like spacers, its fine. im just keen for these cheap wheels haha advise on what to do when i get them fitted ? cheers -------------------- 2003 RS200, Untouched 3SGE, CF Blitz Eyelids, CCFL Halos, Work Meister S2R,

I heard that running spacers require your car to be certified. Thats 400 bucks extra.
With that to add in the beginning, you have a really wide range of wheels to choose And it feels safer too. -------------------- |

haha well il only get spacers if its necessary when buying the work meisters s2r's. im sure taking the spacers off before a wof shouldnt be too bad im getting these wheels because they are so cheap, $450 is very cheap. i know i have plenty of variety to choose from, but for that price im buying non branded made in china wheels, which im sure you would rather have the work meisters. so do you all approve of these wheels ? http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/car-parts-...7135176.htm#qna -------------------- 2003 RS200, Untouched 3SGE, CF Blitz Eyelids, CCFL Halos, Work Meister S2R,

Might not clear the front brakes without spacers, end of the day just make sure you get wheels that you like =)

Rim's look good but the Altezza has such a bulky lines I'd only stick 18s on it.
Better overall effect cosmetically. But it price is an issue then those look nice enough |

hey guys, thanks for all your comments and guidance
i picked up the Work Meisters S2R's on the weekend, and it turns out that the offset is actually +50 so that makes all clearance (front brakes) as the standards are also +50 and i plan on spraying the spokes matte black, leaving the dish the standard silver. pics on the wheels after they have been sprayed this weekend! but for now heres the wheels after a good clean. 17x7.5 5x114.3 +50 Cheers, Harri Attached Image ![]() -------------------- 2003 RS200, Untouched 3SGE, CF Blitz Eyelids, CCFL Halos, Work Meister S2R,

I was going to go 9+30 (33 gtr wheels), but cbf rolling guards and messing with camber to get them sitting nice.. plus stretching tyres too haha. Might test fit the 9 and 10j AVS 5 from my s14 though when I get coilovers

I had 17 x 9 + 35 and the rears scrub and the fronts extend past the guards
Spacers in NSW are also illegal unless they come factory fitted. |

hey just thought id give you guys a pic, since you guys helped me make my decision.
just a quick one, running Nankang NS-II's 20mm spacer on the rear is coming dont worry in the end, i do kinda regret only getting 17x7.5's and +50 but il learn from mistakes. expect to see me on the streets cruising ![]() -------------------- 2003 RS200, Untouched 3SGE, CF Blitz Eyelids, CCFL Halos, Work Meister S2R,
