The wing mirrors on my RS200 fold in no problems, but 90% of the time the passenger mirror wont fold back out. Has anyone come across this in the past?

Did it make funny noises too?? My last Tezza did that so I unplugged it and sold it

Yeah mine does that too but only about 10% of the time. Don't park on the street anymore so don't put my mirrors in. Must be something to do with the gears on the motor not lining up properly or a spider living in there

If I get sick of it not folding out, I push the mirror out a little manually, and push the button, and it makes a loud click. but if it does work, it sounds normal...

I'm presuming you can hear the motor working but not getting any movement?
Not sure of the mechanics inside these mirrors, but it sounds a little bit like some missing or partially stripped teeth on a drive cog, sometimes they might catch, sometimes they might not depending on where they line up. If thats the case, it'll get progressively worse. -------------------- '99 Altezza RS200Z- project car
