I'm looking for a set of Tyres for my new 19 x 8's Advan Kruezer's.
The tyre shop I last spoke to on the phone recommended a 215/35 as this is the closest to the oem rolling diameter, I thought most guys running 19's went for a 225/35? Im thinking of going with the Michelin Pilot sports if I can get em for around $400 each. Other tyre I'm keen on are the Toyo Proxes T1R (quoted $350 each) how do these compare to the cheaper tyres in the Toyo range? Other considerations are the Continental's contisports by memory, Goodyear F1's Michelin Preceda's. Any advice or feedback on your experiences would be appreciated -------------------- ![]() High End Stez: Eclipse AVN 6000 DLS Nobeliums 6.2 DLS Ultimate A3 & A4 amps (Active) JL Audio 10W7 Stinger pro cables TRD VER S Zorst, Full C West Bodykit (SOLD) BMW E92 335i owner now |

Just fitted Dunlop SP Sport Maxx. Only had them on for a week or so.
Great grip dry and wet and very quite. Had F1's before these, so far these win hands down IMO Got a mate who works for ford so i got a great price on them |

Well we run 215/45/17 for the stock 17x7 mags so I would go with atleast 225 or 235 for the 19x8.
The T1R are good tires, have had them in the past and were pretty good all round -------------------- |

I've used Toyo T1R & T1S, the top of their range, for over 5years on Greeneyes and longer on older cars..
I reckon they're great, and the latest Falken 452 is no better. At the moment I have a pair of each on the car, and they are indistinguishable. -------------------- The Girl's KE70-

Are the T1R noisy at all?
And what is the wear rate like? -------------------- ![]() High End Stez: Eclipse AVN 6000 DLS Nobeliums 6.2 DLS Ultimate A3 & A4 amps (Active) JL Audio 10W7 Stinger pro cables TRD VER S Zorst, Full C West Bodykit (SOLD) BMW E92 335i owner now |

Well let us know on prices because the guy me and charlie go to looks after us quite well and gives us great prices. he quoted me $225 for Toyo T1R 215/45R17 or 195 for the falken FK452 same size. I dunno about you guys but ive heard some excellent stuff about federal 595 or the 595S (semi slick) but yeh the tyres i'll probably go for next would be the falken FK452 got the falken 352 (or something like that I dun like them)
