::title goes here::, i don't know what to call it

so i got this really random story idea today. it came out of the clear blue. :blink: tell me what you think (and be honest).

i don't have many details yet, but basically it goes like this...there's these three internet friends (from different places, never laid eyes on each other) that play in this online multiplayer rpg together. and one day a brand new site opens up introducing this brand new, hard core mmorpg. well they decide to go check it out and set a date to where they'd all log in at the same time to play. well, the date arrives and the friends log in. but when they do, something happens and the three get sucked into this portal that warps them into a midieval world (oooh, a little sci-fi action there). so basically, it's one of those "find your way back" stories.

oh, and the fun part is...when the kids get sucked into the other world, they become creatures other than humans depending on their personalities (ie. elf, troll, etc). two of the friends have to go around as creatures feared by man, which gives them an even harder time (especially with bount hunters). so in order to turn back to their normal selves, they have to make their way through the mysterious land and find who or what it was that brought them there.

ok, so that was long... :death: er...sorry. does that sound like it's got potential?

why yes it does have potential!.... sorta reminds me of an anime i watch... with the online friends.. and the online games and stuff.... but nah....

really? which show is that? that's really interesting...

do you really think it would work? well, i guess if they made a similar story into a tv show then yeah, i guess it would. i need to work out some more details...(not to mention find a suitable name for it)

well... thats a name.... hmm.

th anime it reminded me of was called //.hack its like a different version of //.hack sign like anyone really watches that show though...

cyber saga is a good name, but i think it needs something else...i might call it "Portal to Doom" or something. i dunno.

i got the main characters sort of worked out:

Demetri (alter ego: vampire) - is usually fun and good-natured, but if angered, the guilty party had better run.

Beth (alter ego: elf) - when she's online playing games, she's an intimidating rogue. elswhere, she's your average, playful tomboy.

Elden (alter ego: werewolf) - a hard core online gamer who can get carried away. usually is willing to do almost anything to win.

and now, for the story...

Thats a good idea HS. It would make a really good story.

wish I could get my hands on one. I like anime, almost any kind. Although pople tell me thats not a very good one :(
