01. WHAT IS THE SITE'S TIMEFRAME?
The site is set during New Moon. More specifically everything that happens up until the cliff diving incident has happened here as well. However, the actual cliff dive itself did not occur. The site picks up shortly after. Also, The La Push Pack have expanded much faster here because in addition to Victoria trying to slip through the werewolves' defenses there have been escalating trouble with the four other vampire covens in the general area.
02. CAN I MAKE AN ORIGINAL CHARACTER?
Original characters are allowed however there are some restrictions. Mature nomad and Volturi vampires are limitless but unfortunately mature vampires in an existing coven are limited to the number of slots indicated on the canon list. Once those slots are filled the only way to join an existing coven is through roleplay interaction or as a newborn vampire.You may notice that newborns vampires also have slots but we are very flexible with them and are willing to expand those slots as needed (if we feel that each coven has enough members) because....well every coven needs their army. Original werewolves will also be available because due to the sheer number of vampires running rampant the pack needs to be able to keep up, however at the current time we will only allow a few original werewolves.
03. CAN MY ORIGINAL VAMPIRE HAVE POWERS?
Some original characters may have powers depending on their affiliation and the current number of vampires running around the site with powers. For example Volturi characters are more apt to have powers. Contact the admin first before giving your vampire a power. Be sure of have a good reason why they would develop such a power.
04. CAN I BE A CHARACTER FROM ECLIPSE OR BREAKING DAWN?
Although we here at [ Who Wants To Live Forever ] would like to ignore Breaking Dawn as much as possible...provided that your character is not some weird half and half milk creature if you can think of a reason for them to be in Washington then by all means bring them. Just keep the board's time frame in mind.
05. CAN MY CHARACTER BE A HUMAN/VAMPIRE HYBRID?
Sorry but no human/vampire hybrids are allowed, canon or otherwise. They simply just do not and will never exist on this board. Ever.
06. CAN I MAKE MY OWN COVEN/PACK?
Currently we are not allowing original covens or packs as there are already a few covens running around, however your characters may band together in small gatherings unofficially.
07. WILL ECLIPSE/BREAKING DAWN EVER HAPPEN ON THIS SITE?
While the admins love Eclipse and may have incorporated some very basic plot elements from the book the site is AU and will likely form itself in a different direction. As for Breaking Dawn? No. Just...NO. The fourth book will absolutely-without-a-doubt never happen here. The admins here loathe it and prefer to think it never existed.. If Bella even thinks of having kids we'll smite her. Seriously. We will.
08. I'VE NEVER READ THE BOOKS BUT I LIKE THE SITE'S PLOT, CAN I STILL JOIN?
Of course! As long as you don't want one of the major canons then chances are that you'll fit in just fine. Just keep in mind that the vampires and werewolf of the Twilight world do not follow the traditional mold. 09. A CANON I WANT HASN'T BEEN ON IN OVER TWO WEEKS, CAN I APPLY FOR THEM?
If major canon character has shown no activity and hasn't posted an away message or pmed any of the admin notifying us of their absence they may be available for an override. In this case, ask an admin in the appropriate forum or c-box.
10. YOU DO KNOW THAT S.MEYERS SAID THAT THE WOLVES WERE REALLY SHAPESHIFTERS RIGHT?
Why yes we do know this but like 99.9% of Breaking Dawn we're going to ignore that too because it doesn't make sense for all vampires to hate all shapeshifters and vice versa if they aren't mortal enemies (and think they smell). So on this board they are most definitely werewolves. Shapeshifters? Wha? Huh? What is that?
11. SOME OF THE CANONS AREN'T LISTED ON THE CANON LIST THAT APPEARED IN TWILIGHT OR NEW MOON (LIKE MIKE NEWTON!) CAN I STILL PLAY THEM?
Yes you may. Some of the smaller canons were omitted from the list because quite frankly we have a giant canon list and couldn't think of a way to tie them into a sub-plot.
12. CAN I PLAY RENESMEE THE DEMON SPAWN?
If you couldn't already tell how we feel about this character from the way this question was phrased we'll make it plain as day. HELL TO THE NO. Additionally we've already banned all incarnations of her name from ever being registered on the board in the first place.
13. WHO CONTROLS FORKS, SEATTLE, LA PUSH AND PORT ANGELES?
Currently Forks, Port Angeles, and Seattle is being fought over by the Bosse and Vasquez., however Forks is also protected by the Cullens and their friends. La Push belongs to the werewolves.
14. WHY IS IT THAT IN SOME COVENS THE MEMBERS HAVE THE SAME LAST NAME AND SOME DON'T?
The covens with uniform last names are the vegetarian vampires and have formed much closer bonds to one another to the point that they consider each other family. Having the same lastname elevates that feeling of familial ties. The other covens, unless it is between mates, have different lastnames because they don't view the entire coven as their family and don't want to adopt another's lastname.
