Welcome to Mirror, Mirror
Mirror, Mirror is a future harry potter rpg. The war has ended, and Voldemort is dead, defeated by harry Potter. However, what Harry Potter did not know was the spell Voldemort had placed on him before he died. Harry Potter is now weakening, as a new power is strengthening. It is only a matter of time before everything in the wizarding world is in chaos. The Death Eaters are starting to regroup, but nobody knows who the new leader is, not even himself. All that is known is that they must be stopped before it is too late. [More detailed plot to come]

Natana was seated at a long table in the library, where a book and piece of parchment sat open on before her. Her quill was hel poised above the parchment as she carefully reread the paragraph she had just written.
Perhaps the longest and most noteable period of conflict in the nineteenth century wizarding world was the series of Goblin wars that plagued the country for nearly seventy years. The long and costly period of battles was rooted in the goblin rebellions of previous centuries. Perhaps the long struggle against anti-goblin prejudice had heated their blood; they were eager to make a show of their potential as a real threat, and this manifested itself in inter-tribe battles. By attacking each other, the species sought to prove to the rest of the magical world - and each other - that they were not to go unheard any longer.
The girl's eyes darted rapidly back and forth as she scanned over the information, checking against her textbook for accuracy. Then, she scribbled down a few more lines. The sound of the quill scratching softly against the parchment was oddly soothing to her, as the was the quiet atmosphere of the library. It was broken, however, as a girl at the other end of the table let out a particularly loud giggle. Natana glared at her impatiently and dipped her quill once more into the ink. She finished off the paragraph that she was writing and gave a satisfied smile at her completed essay.
For most, History of Magic was a useless class. Though Tana oftened questioned its practicality, she was one of the few students who actually found it interesting. Indeed, whereas her classmates would rather cast charms at doxies and learn how to light things on fire with their wand tips, Natana preferred to study her texts, memorize her facts, and write her essays with minimal amounts of actual wand magic. For a witch, she possessed little of the skill with a wand that most of her peers had. Indeed, she supposed that she would sometimes be better at a muggle school, from what she had heard of them. Still, this was her world, and she cherished it. She could get by with the simple and charms and spells she had managed to master in her previous five years at the school.
Shooting another annoyed glance at the rather loud group of girls who now whispering excitedly among themselves, she closed her borrowed textbook sharply and stood up to replace it on the shelf. Next, the potions essay. Twelve inches on the Draught of Peace. She grimaced slightly at the thought of writing twelve inches of parchment on the composition of a potion.

Danika Lestrange walked into the Library extremely annoyed. Work. Books. Stupid. She hated books. They were long and... pointless. Atleast in her opinion they were. Not that it mattered, she could never find anyone to cheat off of. So she was stuck in a stupid school library. For the day. With little nerdy book worms, whom seemed to never speak. The Library was just too quiet. And that was exactly what she was thinking about she sat down a ways away from Natana Weasley. One of those Ravenclaw book worms.
She stood up searching for the exact book she needed, and not finding it just grabbed a random book that seemed to be close enough... or atleast in color of the cover. Maybe. Sitting back in her seat she opened the book up and then suddenly closed it. "That's enough studying for the day!" she exclaimed rather loudly, but that was her, loud. She looked down the table at Natana questioningly. How interesting could that be? Sitting around, in a library?
"Do you seriously enjoy reading this junk? I mean c'mon, do the teachers even know what they're talking about?" she asked aloud though it wasn't really to anyone in particular. Dani couldn't understand the other people sitting around reading. And writing. And... working. The dreaded w word.

Natana looked up from her potions book and gave the girl a rather cold look. She'd seen her around. What her was her name again? Oh yes, Danikia. A slytherin. Probably another one of those slytherins that spend so much time plotting pranks and cruel jokes on others that they have difficulty scraping A's on their classwork. "Most of them do," She said, with a hint of that coldness in her voice. "Or else they wouldn't be hired, would they?"
She tossed back her curls of blond hair and swept her bangs out of her eyes and across her forehead. The school was far too full of these slythering girls... though, Natana didn't know her very well. Perhaps she was catagorizing Danika too quickly. Perhaps this girl would be different. "I do enjoy reading this junk, actually. Well, some of it anyway. And what do you mean, that's enough studying for the day?" she questioned, raising a thin eyebrow. "You've hardly even finished reading a page."

Danika noticed that Natana was giving her a rather cold look and looked down to avoid it. Man that girl had a problem or something. Something, definitely something. "Errr... I guess not." she said awkwardly, Dani didn't get intimidated much, and this seemed to be one of those times. Annoyed with herself that she couldn't have kept her mouth shut and avoided that cold stare she stared at the book cover for a second.
"You enjoy reading this?" she stared in awe at the book Natana had in front of her. But... that's just inhuman. Wasn't it? Of course. Dani shrugged. Studying was boring, and just looking at a book was enough studying for the day. "I don't particularly enjoy books. Plus," she looked back down at the book. "This isn't even the correct one. It's just some random book about..." she trailed off realizing she had no utter clue what the book was about at all.
Deciding to change the subject from her reading to Natana's only slightly more comfortable of a topic she looked at the book the other girl had. "Sooo... What's that book about anyways?" she asked trying her best to act interested. Though she wasn't in the least.

"This," Natana replied, indicating the text book, "Is about potions, seeing as it is my potions book." She replied, somewhat distractedly, as she scribbled a few more sentences down on her parchment. She appreciated the obvious effort Danika was putting into looking interested, but she wasn't doing a very good job of it. The girls down the table let off another lous squack of laughter and Natana made a slight sound of disgust.
"Can you believe them? Honestly, in the library for heaven's sake." She put a good deal of emphasis on the word library, as if it was something sacred. How strange she must have seemed, with her interest in books and her absolute worship of the library, a place for studying. Well, she supposed it was simply her true ravenclaw shining through. She suddenly felt bad for having been so snappy and rude with the other girl. "Sorry I'm in such a foul mood," She said apologetically. "I've been a little distracted...". She glanced down once more at her essay and realized in frustration that she had forgotten an ingredient.

How stupid could she have been? The book was clearly a potions book. The question had seemed fairly intelligent when asked. But now Dani felt rather stupid to have asked it. "Err... That's cool. I guess I didn't recognize it because I haven't looked at mine for a while." she said stupidly trying to make a joke out of her mistake. But it onlyhl made her feel even stupider than she already did. If that was humanly possible.
Danika looked over at the girls Natana was talking about. She herself was rather loud, but atleast she put up an effort to be quiet in the library. They didn't seem to be trying at all. She looked back at Natana and shrugged. "They're just rude. I wouldn't be surprised if they were kicked out any minute now." she said in a matter of fact way. In her mind she was betting how long it would take the Librarian to come and kick them out. Imature yes, but it was fun.
"It's okay and all, if you're in a foul mood, you're in a foul mood." she gave a slight shrug with her shoulders. Then she thought about something. She didn't even know who this girl was. Well she thought she did. But she wasn't sure if it was true. "You're Natana Weasley, right?" she asked hoping the other girl wouldn't get offended or something.
