 Welcome to Girl World!
It called for a fresh start, as I'm sure you'll all agree. So after a while, I've re-opened the site from scratch. Please read over the canon characters, and if possible, adopt one of those. Original characters are welcome at all times.
I look forward to roleplaying with you!

The sun shone it ways through the window and made its way into the Library. It was a rather warm afternoon, the kind of afternoon that you just wish to be spending outside. Now you would think that most students would be spending their lunch hour outside basking in the glory of the california sun. As for poor Louis, he unfortunately just so happened to be locked up in the stuffy library. Now Louis? Not exactly the sort of person anyone would actually expect to see in the library.
If only he would have completed his homework last night all this could have been avoided. Perhaps he could just leave the library now, just ditch it all, who cares about homework anyways. But alas Louis was more different than that, he knew that this was something that had to get done.
Tapping his pen on his notebook Louis could feel his eyes slowly lowering. Books were open in front of him and it seemed as if his notebook had a few misplaced sentences written down. It seemed as if his homework really wasn't coming along all that fast.

Normally, Avery was opposed to any type of learning during hours that were mainly for fun, however she needed to do well in her English class this semester, and last night she hadn't completed the assignment given to her. The blonde took a peek into the library and noticed that there was barely anyone in there, just as she'd expected. After walking in, she tapped her fingers against the sides of her ripped jeans, mainly because of habit. Along with these, she also wore a backless black tee that hugged her figure perfectly. Her friends had planned on grabbing something off campus, but considering her grade in English, Avery told them that she couldn't. Besides, she wasn't in the mood for all that jazz. Vee felt that a low-key day might be better for her. It was only moments after she'd walked in that she spotted him- Louis Reed. He had no idea... She didn't even know... She was about to turn and walk right back outside, but she knew that the assignment had to be done. She sighed. What the hell was he doing in the library anyway? He was the king of the school, and he was spending lunch in the library? Something was definitely not right. Then again, Avery knew that other people saw him as something completely different than what she saw him as. They had no idea what he was really like, because he sometimes put on a front to fit in with all the other guys. In a way, it reminded her of Nathan Scott from One Tree Hill, when he was embarrassed to be going out with Haley and acted different around her than when he was with his friends. That was sort of how Louis had been when they were dating, and he'd ended it because of that too. Louis appeared to be falling asleep, so Avery figured she might just be able to sneak by and leave him there. It wasn't like he'd say anything to her anyway. Apparently, he didn't care. Then again, maybe for fun, she'd wake him up. Vee ripped out a piece of paper from her binder silently, then crumpled it into a ball and made her way toward Louis. Avery threw the ball at his head, smirking slightly and waiting for his reaction.

Well the homework had definitely lost Louis' attention, his eyes lowered as he rested his head on his hand. Now it would be a lie to say Louis did not have a productive lunch hour in the library, why he already had an entire page of his notebook covered in doodles. He didn't exactly get much sleep last night anyways, why not catch up now? Letting out a slight snort Louis' head popped up once the paper ball hit him in the head. Apparently fate had other plans for Louis at the moment, those plans not involving sleeping.
Slightly groggy Louis was now awake, well at least for the time being. His orbs scanned the library in search of the paper ball bandit, why it was none other than Avery Thomas. He couldn't help but let out a slight smile, "You know, I was quite enjoying my little nap."
Ah, Avery Thomas. What a history the two had together, they went back pretty far. Perhaps she was the only girl Louis was ever capable of actually letting in. The two used to be good friends, and it actually even developed into a serious relationship, actually the most serious he had ever been in. But all good things just seem to come to an end, as did the relationship with Avery and Louis. It was at a party one night that Louis became a little too drunk and ended up in bed with a girl, that girl who was not Avery. Of course it would be a lie for Louis to say he didn't still have feelings for the girl, because he did. He just knew she would never take him back after that, and he has kind of just accepted that fact. Friends is better than nothing, right?

Vee smiled slightly as he looked up at her, apparently still a little tired from his almost-nap. Rolling her eyes at his comment, she replied, "Well, too bad. I ruined it." She was mildy tempted to say 'kinda like how you ruined our relationship' but she didn't think one of their typical arguments would be all that fun in the library. The librarian would probably throw a book at their heads and shoo them out the door.
Looking at him sort of broke her heart. It was hard to imagine that a few months ago they'd been holding hands and talking about nothing that actually meant something, looking into each other's eyes and falling in love all over again... If what they had was really love. Sure, they'd said their 'I love yous' but had it really meant anything? Avery knew it had meant something to her, but whether or not it was anything to Louis, she didn't know. Avery really had loved him, and she still did, but everything was all screwed up mainly after she found out from someone about him sleeping with some girl at a party. The blonde had always trusted Louis with everything, even going to parties, but after that one the whole thing seemed to have been a lie and things had never really been the same. She constantly found herself wishing that they'd broken up over something else, anything else, because then there would have been a chance for the two to work things out and get back together. Her friends were constantly bothering her about it, asking her why she didn't have a new boy toy, and the truth was... she was still in love with him, whether or not he was in love back.
"So... How've you been, stranger?" she asked, taking the seat in front of Louis and setting her bag down on the floor. Avery had forgotten all about the English assignment after spotting him, so she doubted that she'd be finishing anytime soon. Besides, he hadn't gotten very far either, she could see the squiggly lines drawn all over his paper, and she held back a small laugh. "I see you've been working very hard on your homework there," she said sarcastically.
