The last traces of snow are disappearing in the warm spring sun. The land is slowly waking up as winter releases its last hold, filling the air with birdsong and warm breezes.
Soon the first buds of flowers will be blossoming across the land. Will you be ready for the Flower Festival?

¤ Wonderful news! Mossleaf is indeed resurfacing. It is too beautiful of a site and a world to abandon like so...
¤ So give it a moment and a shake and off Mossleaf will go! Shall it be this board? Or shall we grace a brand new URL specialized PHbb 3.0 forum as our own? What shall be added and what shall remain? Whatever happens there is one core dedication to this final move, this final application - Mossleaf, from now on and forever, shall remain.

Town Square The road that leads into Mossleaf Village brings travelers straight into the town square. The villagers come here to celebrate their many festivals and exchange afternoon gossip. Navigation to the rest of the village from here is a simple matter of glancing at signs or politely asking one of the villagers.
Ivyleaf Library A quaint brick building tucked in the shade of large oak trees, just a short walk from Town Square. Ivy adorns the brick walls of the library and flowers grow shyly about the entrance. The library is peaceful and cool, a favorite sanctuary for the quieter villagers in Mossleaf.
Pinkcat Blossom Lane A cheerful street usually lined with flowers and content housewives. Children play happily in the dirt road and neighbors exchange gossip and dinner. Pinkcat Lane is known for its friendly neighborhood and abundance of house cats.
Twisted Oak Hill The villagers of Mossleaf have a respect for the power of nature that appears all around them, which is why the three very large, very old oak trees on this hill have never been touched. Shops and houses work their way around them with respect and are rewarded with the trees comforting shade and a shower of acorns every autumn. The hill is a popular picnic place in spring and summer, offering a great view of most of the village and surrounding fields.
Village Fringes There are several quiet streets set slightly away from the livelier parts of town, some which echo back to the founding days of the village. A worn bell tower calls back to the founding days when Mossleafian's first began to settle the land. Scattered ruins whisper of history even further back. Beyond the village walls there are a few shops scattered about, many of which house livestock and other goods not fit for inside of town.
Serene Forest Serene Forest peacefully drapes itself across the very hilly land to the west of Mossleaf Village. A thin dirt road marks the only entrance in and out of the village. Friendly wildlife live peacefully and plentifully throughout here, usually willing to spend an afternoon with a kind visitor. The forest is famous for its ponds full of bright goldfish and oddly colored frogs, as well as its delicious fall truffles.
Pebblestone Beach Pebblestone Beach, a short stretch of sand that borders an edge of the village. The village children love the beach for the many smooth, shining pebbles that can be found scattered in the sand. No one knows why there are so many pretty rocks, but village parents love having a safe place for their children to swim and local fisherman appreciate the close docks.
Meadows Lush, lulling meadows cover great expanses of land outside of the village, hedged between the two forests by rivers. A great and colorful variety of flowers, grass, and herbs grow in the meadows, providing a safe place for many to spend their afternoons gathering plants. A few clusters of trees are scattered about. These meadows have provided fertile farming for centuries.
Kafei Forest The wide and vibrant upper forests, known for its rich, mysterious beauty. Kafei Forest is home to countless wonders - majestic waterfalls, ancient old growth forests, flora and fauna intertwined with magic, and dozens of mossy ruins. While most creatures in the forest will leave travelers be, it is recommended that explorers stay to well trodden paths. The forest is large, extending from the sea coast to the first cliffs of Agahnim Fell.
Agahnim Fell The rich greenery of Kafei Forest withholds itself at the edge of the barren, desolate plateau known as Agahnim Fell. Trees that take root here grow gnarled and plants blossom into thorns and wisps. Red dust covers the fell and a perpetual moaning wind whips the sky to an eerie blood-red glow. Deserted houses dot the landscape, next to mass graves and violent gashes torn into the ground by long passed fury.
Mountain Range Cradling Kafei Forest and Agahnim Fell from the dark wound of the Abyss, the mountain range stands guard between the villagers of Mossleaf and the beasts of the other realms. Through centuries of such duty the mountains have gained an atmosphere of suppressed mystery, new caves and glimpses of undiscovered valleys calling out to those who crave adventure.
Palace of Mages A historical site that long existed only in legend and tattered memory, the Palace of Mages has been found. Centuries have passed since it last saw use but the Palace remains overwhelming in size and stature, its magic untouched by time. Though initial exploration into the hundreds of hallways have only just begun, the Palace has proven to be a haven for ancient knowledge of the land once known as Mossleaf and the bane known as the Abyss.

The Abyss Past the great reach of the Mountain Range a mortal wound cuts through the earth itself. A tear in the earth, carved from magic and desperation. The black canyon extends from the coast and disappears past the Mountain Range, further than any traveler has gone. The Abyss, prison of the creatures of Dark and Holy that strive to feed in the Mortal Realms. Traveling into the maw invites death to those unable to match claws with the beasts awaiting.
