Rio's new home lies nestled between the other quaint houses of Pinkcat Lane, surrounded by a modest handful of cherry blossom trees and a well-kept lawn. Sunlight always seems to dance on this street and even the rain is cheerful - the perfect place for Rio to put down her roots.
The Fujiike household is currently very modest - a simple kitchen living-room combo with stairs leading up to a loft bedroom. A door in the living room area leads to a well-kept, if snug, bathroom. Windows are liberally decorated throughout the house, keeping it well lit and feeling spacious despite its size. The branches of the trees outside play with the sunlight, creating beautiful shadows that dance over the floors and walls of Rio's home.
Rio's living room is currently very scarce, holding a single ocean blue sofa, tucked in the corner next to the front window. A wooden bookshelf sits against the far wall, next to the door to the bathroom. Rio has already filled the bookshelf full with books she's checked out from the library and had brought from home herself. The sofa is the perfect reading spot - Rio can watch the neighborhood children and cats play from her perch, the window sill is a perfect rest for her usual cup of tea or lemonade, and the rich sunlight brightens the room perfectly for reading.
The kitchen has a recently acquired fridge and oven, brand new and ready to be tested with some of the interesting recipes Rio digs up from her books. A cooking set sits in the shelves overhead, everything placed neatly into their spots so they can be called on for some experimental cooking in the near future.
Rio's bedroom is covered in soft, fluffy carpet and currently holds a brand new bed - much to Rio's back's delight - and a wooden armoire, her skirts neatly hung and shirts tidily folded within. The window at the far end of Rio's bedroom is a large round one with white wooden trimming, from which Rio can see into a few neighbor's backyards (as well as her own) and even spot the large oaks of Three Oak Hill.
The backyard is currently Rio's favorite spot. Tall white picket fencing surround a modestly sized backyard. Ivy and honeysuckles grow intermingled up the back of the house, leading to the upstairs bedroom window, where the honeysuckles will one day bloom right next to Rio's bed. Dogwood, cherry trees, and ginkgo trees grow in Rio's backyard and the neighbors yard, creating a well shaded and comfortable environment. There is still plenty of room for Rio to stretch out on the grass and relax or start a modest garden, though!
