Welcome to Mossleaf Village! We're an open fantasy RPG based off on Harvest Moonian philosophy and a passion for anything that sparks our creativity! We also love nature and anything to do with green and flowers!

Mossleaf was founded in February 2006 by a fantasy loving admin that learned a lot about running a unique RPG through the school of hard knocks during the next few months. From the very beginning we've been one of the first Harvest Moonian RPGs to add fantasy elements. Now Mossleaf is emerging into a more evolved version, the result of over two years of experience carefully gained as an admin and a decade of experience role-playing.

Mossleaf Village is now a Harvest Moonian RPG for experienced role-players who have a passion for fantasy, magic, and made-up creatures ranging from Ragnarok Online monsters to sophisticated pokemon! We draw aspects from a wide variety of sources - books, movies, original dreams, poetry, artwork... Some of the strongest influences include the Zelda video games, Ragnarok Online, Harvest Moon, Inu-Yasha, and dozens of lesser known sources!

Some might blink at the places we choose to pull some of our creativity - isn't Avatar: The Last Airbender a child's show, after all? Perhaps, but creativity knows no bounds! And you've got to admit - wouldn't it be cool to bend water through the air at will?

We've worked hard to create an environment full of possibilities, creativity, and lots of tress and flowers! Our role-playing style is advanced in expectations, though we'll give anyone a chance to join Mossleaf! That doesn't mean that you have to post uber-long messages every time you decide to role-play - sometimes, a short post is a better sign of talented writing than a babbling long one, after all!

In the end, our strongest bond is the community we work to develop in Mossleaf - a group of friends with common creative passions, working together to create a world out of their vivid imaginations. We're friendly and love seeing other's creative work develop - so come on in and make yourself at home and make your dreams come alive!
