It was just one of those days where everything seemed to pass incredibly slow. Classes seemed longer, homework seemed harder, and the only sense of relief given was when the bell rang to signal the end of school for the day. And that was exactly how Shane felt as she sat comfortably in the largest hoop situated at the east side of the Quidditch Pitch. She had just finished up her homework for the night when she decided to come out here to watch the grounds from above - people watching was always an interesting thing to do on a slow day.

Looking down below, Shane grinned as she noticed her broom hovering innocently next to the ground at a perfect mounting height. Her broom was a late model of the Firebolt that she had gotten handed down to her from her brother Carter, but it was the best broom she'd ever had without a doubt. She wasn't worried about getting down for she knew that it would come to her on command, which she was actually very thankful for - she didn't know what she would have done if she was stuck up there.

Shane vaguely noticed a couple of people approaching the pitch before her gaze turned back to surveying the school grounds. If they weren't going to bother her, she wouldn't bother them - simple as that.

Classes had finally just ended after hours on end of having information drilled into his head and Jason couldn't deny the relief he felt at the fact that it was finally over - for the day that is, at least. He didn't think he could take another minute of listening to the History Of Magic teacher drawl on about the great Goblin Rebellion.

He stepped out of the school with his Nimbus 2001 clutched tightly at his side and a couple boys from class trailing behind him. At the moment he was attempting to listen to one of the younger boys at his side who was rambling on about something he wasn't quite sure of, but his efforts were lost.

"Hey Jace, isn't that your sister?" Now that caught his attention. Turning his gaze in the direction the boy was pointing, he noticed that it was indeed Shane sitting in one of the hoops at the farther end of the Quidditch Pitch.

What was she doing up there?

"Dude, she's hot." Jason gave the boy who decided to voice that thought an icy glare before casting a sonorous charm on himself.

"Yo! Shane!" He called loudly, his voice magnified by the charm placed on his voice box. He was attracting some attention from the random people scattered among the pitch, but he simply ignored it. She'd come down eventually, which was when the boys would start their Quidditch game - they obviously couldn't start with her sitting in a main part of the game, now could they?

Hearing Jason's voice, Shane turned her head down to look below the ring only to realize he wasn't there. With a puzzled expression dawning her pretty face, her gaze flew out to the far end of the pitch in search of her brother. And her expression immediately turned to one of annoyance as she spotted him with a couple of other boys from different years trailing behind him. She didn't like those boys - they made her brother into something he wasn't.

A loud whistle erupted through her teeth and she grinned as her Firebolt flew up to meet her needs. She quickly hopped on and maneuvered her way across the field to where the group of boys stood awaiting her arrival.

"What do you want, Jace?" Shane called out once she was close enough for him to hear her, skidding to a halt in front of the group tiredly.
