Personality: With a heart of gold and a head of steel to match, Shane is just another small town girl with big dreams. Evidently, a title as the girl next door would fit Shane most - even though she'd digress. Her dream is to make it big someday, which means that if you didn't already
know about her powers it isn't likely that you ever
would. She is too stubborn for her own good at times, a bad habit of hers that she's tried unsuccessfully to break more than once by now. Shane is known to take things in stride and isn't a generally angry person by nature, though its best not to tempt her on the subject for the consequences are not exactly pretty.
Usually a very happy person, she is almost always found with one of her contagious smiles gracing her full pink lips. Being the attention loving teenage girl she is, Shane is often found reveling in it and expressing her more outgoing side to the world around her. Though school isn't always her favorite place, she loves to learn about new things and shows serious curiosity when it comes to whatever subject being taught.
Don't get it wrong though, she's not
that naive.
Appearance: Shane attracts attention almost as naturally as it is to breathe. Why however, she says she'll never know. She'd never really thought of herself as the 'classic beauty' that others are often telling her she is, which only proves what she'd figured all along - she doesn't see herself clearly at all.
Standing at an average height of five foot five inches tall, Shane is quite thin and evidently a bit underweight for her age at one hundred pounds even. Her eyes are a striking deep brown color, usually widened somewhat with supposed innocence that seems almost captivating at times. Of course, she will have tried to unleash one of her famous puppy-dog pouts on someone
at least once in her time of knowing them - its said to be her trademark, though she would beg to differ. However, if her eyes are her
best feature, her hair is definitely her
favorite one. Almost always kept in its natural straight bright blond state, it brings out the pale color of her porcelain face beautifully. Its cut to hang just a little above her mid back and is layered so much that its almost impossible to keep it up in a ponytail for longer than an hour - putting it up in anything is usually a last resort for Shane.
Shane's overall style is pretty interesting, usually consisting of brightly colored tops and old faded blue jeans as well as some flashy accessory thrown in somewhere. She can almost never be found walking around without a pair of
Converse All-Stars gracing her feet - a habit she picked up from her older brothers throughout the years. While she loves to wear jewelry, the only thing she allows on her hands is the one tiny silver ring that always dawns her left ring finger, signifying the promise she has made to stay a virgin until marriage.
She prefers to be herself and to dress how she feels rather than to go searching through fashion magazines for the newest trends, though she does try to keep her wardrobe
somewhat fashion forward. All in all, a beautiful girl - even if the girl herself doesn't think so.

Family: Born and raised as a Canadian, Shane grew up as the youngest of seven children - the six oldest being all of the male gender. While neither Emmett or Avalynn weren't anything other then average-skilled magical beings, all of the Kingsford children were certainly the opposite and developed powers ranging in skill at quite early ages. Shane is a pureblood, if you didn't already guess.

Power (MUST be approved by AN ADMIN): Shane is a telepath. She can read the thoughts of others clear as day - sometimes. She can choose who's mind to read from the 'voices' in her head, though she isn't always successful in finding the thoughts of the person she is looking for. As useful as this may be, Shane is often found ignoring the thoughts of others for the fact that all of the 'voices' mixed as one causes a great buzzing sound in her mind that clouds over her own thoughts somewhat. It is unbearably annoying at times. Shane also has an unusual problem with fire, earning her the nickname 'Blaze' - whenever she's angry, though finding her as such is incredibly rare, the nearest inanimate object will erupt into flames.
Flaws or Faults: (Minimum of four)- She can act like a guy at times, growing up with all boys having taken a toll on her somewhat.
- She is a bit of a tease, some of the things she says contradicting the promise that the ring on her left hand represents. She would never really do anything to break that promise, however.
- Being a cross between a slacker and a keener was never a good thing. Shane often leaves things to do at the last minute and once she starts them they have to be perfect.
- She's very paranoid, though she doesn't usually voice her opinions on anything paranoia related. She feels like others can see right through her and it more or less scares her.
