Title: most evil item ever

I'm assuming this isn't an intentional effect, but the Troll's Whisper ring not only level drained my PC, it has also made her get a wild surge every single time she casts a spell, even after removing the ring, restoring the drained levels, and resting. Either that or I've suddenly developed the worst luck.

It's also possible that level drain breaks the wild jester kit I'm using, so I'll toddle off to ask about that shortly.

Otherwise, it's a great mod (love the chickens). And congratulations on coming up with the worst curse imaginable, whether you imagined it or not. (I mean, when the item description said "unexpected effects" I still thought I'd be able to get rid of them afterwards.)

Erm, yes, you would be right about the unintentiality. I've had v3 (the actual version) sitting on my computer for the past few months and that has the fix. But my computer is back at my parents' place so I won't be able to update anything for a while.

Sorry about that! I was shocked at my own audacity with the Troll's Whisper on my playthrough. I'll put a big warning next to it.

I keep a lot of saves, so the damage was easily undone. The whole thing was amusing:

Uh-oh, vampires. Better cast stoneskin. Sparkles? Huh... let's try that again. Ok, now I'm a man. Ok, well, maybe I'll try blur instead. Polymorphed into a wolf!? Uh... could somebody kill those vampires while I try to get this sorted out? Anomen? Minsc? A little help here?

Heheh... maybe I should leave it in permanently as a lesson to those who don't save frequently. The level drain is a killer though (literally, when you keep taking off and putting on the ring).
