Welcome to never is perfect }.
We are a literate roleplaying game, based rather loosely on the hit CW show, Supernatural. Here are a few little FAQs to help you out.
Loosely based? How so?
We've kept the Winchester boys, but taken away the entire element of horror
that the show provides. No more hunting, no scary monsters. This is what life
would have been like had the demons not come a'knockin'.
Isn't that what they did in 'What Is And What Should Never Be'?
Yes, and no. For one, this time it's no hoax, no trick, no genie acid trip. This is the cold,
hard truth. Well, kind of. Basically, nothing bad happened, we're completely in an
alternate universe. There is no hunting for our boys, even in their heads.
Are there still bad things out there?
We like to think not. Maybe. Maybe some other family is going through Hell instead
of the Winchesters. Maybe it is somebody else's fate now. We don't like to think about it.
But I thought Mary made a deal..
Sure, she did. In the show. We're not the show. Her parents were hunters in the canon plot,
thus getting her in the position to make such a deal and the destiny our boys have coming
into play later. We're not doing that. Mary lived a normal life, as did John. Her parents
were not hunters, and she never made a deal. Nothing bad happened to them.
When in the series would this be?
We've decided to use this as season one. Dean is 26, Sam is 22. The year is 2005. We hope
that people will take this into consideration when applying for characters, 'cause it's
a real shame when we think people can't count.
Can anyone join, then?
Guess so. We'd usually have said such a thing, but this makes it all the easier. You don't
have to know the show so much to play the game, as there's no show-set plot. For anything
you need to know about the boys, it's in their applications. Otherwise we're just a real
life role play with some familiar characters thrown into the mix.
Thanks for stopping by, come again soon!
