[Audrey Woods]

Audrey arrived back at home about three days ago. She moved her things into an apartment, and unpacked. But she knew that packing, and decorating wasn't something her little boy liked. Yet he did it without complaining. So she decided to take him to somewhere special. But her mother decided to take him instead. Which Audrey thought was a bit strange, but decided to let her so that grandma and grandson could get to know each other.

So Audrey on her own, she decided to go to the mall. She shopped at the gap, buying her son a few new outfits. Then decided to go to starbucks. She never went to starbucks back home, well where she use to live. Where she does live. Why did she buy that apartment? Why did she decide to get a second home here. When she was here all she thought about was getting out of this town. Why did she come back? That was easy, her son wanted to meet his grandparents.

She ordered a carmel latte, deciding to order something plain. She sat down at a table and put her head in her hand. What was she doing?

Raelynn felt like throwing something. She woke up that morning to a note from her dad saying he was going to be gone for a few days for a work related thing. It shouldn't have come as a surprise to her considering that they never talked anyway but she didn't expect to find out from a note. That had just made her mad becuase he hadn't even bothered to tell her to her face. Apparently Rae didn't even rate that with her dad. She couldn't help wondering how things had gotten so bad between them. It wasn't that long ago that she had talked to him everyday. Then suddenly she didn't see him very much and when she did they were fighting. The fights had been about the massive amounts of time he was spending working. Even if he was home her dad was working. That's what she really didn't like. Even if he was home he wasn't home.

For the moment though Raelynn was trying to forget all that. Which was why she had decided to go shopping maybe that would take her mind off of everything. Of course she had only decided that after she spent awhile driving her Prius around the city. Which was how she had ended up in the east end to begin with. It was only once she was there that she decided to go shopping. Originally the drive was supposed to have helped but it didn't. And Rae wasn't usually one for retail therapy but she needed something to help her forget about the note and the fact that things were so wrong with her dad. She'd spent and hour walking around looking in stores. She hadn't bought anything except a book so far and right now she was just looking for something to drink, so she headed for Starbucks. Caffiene sounded good at the moment.

Raelynn started looking at the menu as soon as she entered Starbucks. It didn't take long before she decided she wanted a Java Chip Frapiccino. She ordered it and paid then went to the place they gave you the drink. She looked for a spot to sit while she was waiting for her drink. The closet one she could see had a brunette sitting at it. Once Rae recieved her drink she headed over there. "Do you mind if I sit here or is the spot saved?" Raelynn asked. She wasn't just going to assume that the other chair was free so she asked first.

She sighed, a soft sigh as she heard someone talking to her. She looked up, and pushed her long curly dark brown hair behind her ear. "Its open," She said. She took a sip of her latte, and gave a weak smile. She gave the girl a once over. She looked barely eighteen. Audrey couldn't help but like her hair cut, simple, elegant.

"I'm Audrey Woods," she said. Then she thought to herself wow, it had been a long time since she had to introduce herself to someone. In los angeles, most people knew who she was. Jeeze, in l.a. most people wore her clothing and asked her for her autograph. Most celebrities, wore her clothes to the grammys, the oscars.

"Nice to mee you, Audrey. I'm Raelynn Davis." She sat down as she introduced herself. When she heard the name Audrey Woods she remembered hearing it. Rae wasn't one to follow fashion trends so that Audrey was a fashion designer was about all she knew. Rae had also never seen pictures of her so she hadn't recognized her. "You design clothes don't you?" She asked. Raelynn only knew about music and writing. She liked clothes but she wasn't obsessed with them so she didn't really know the names of designers or what they looked like.

Now that Rae knew Audrey was a designer she wondered if Audrey lived in Louisville but then considering that Raelynn had spent her whole life so far in the place she'd never heard of her. Didn't mean she didn't though because Louisville was big enough that there was no way she could ever know of everybody. Plus the fact that Rae wasn't an extremely outgoing person to begin with. Raelynn didn't like big groups of people so it wasn't ever that easy for her to get to know people. It took awhile, unless it was someone she'd known from birth or a young age. Those people she really knew.
