GAY BAR: woody's is a pretty great gay bar. especially if all you want is a night out with your friends (straight or gay.) they have some music and dancing, though not nearly as much as connection downtown. however, woody's does have one thing that no other bar has... queer beer. no one knows what brand it is, just that it's a dollar after midnight.

` the mag bar
DRINKING UNDERAGE: the mag bar is the favorite amont college kids in louisville. it's a short walk from campus or anywhere in old louisville. the bartenders don't card as heavily as many bars in the area and the drinks are pretty cheap. the crowd is generally younger and more alternative, but it is always there until the bar closes at night.

` the tavern
23 HOURS A DAY: the tavern is open 23 hours a day and generally has a few people inside of it. the drinks and food are both pretty good and there are enough pool tables to guarantee you a game at some point in the night. depending on the bartender, you can also drink here at any time.

` central park
FUN IN THE SUN: central park is a beautiful and spacious park located between magnolia and ormsby on fourth street. there are tennis courts, a huge stage, a playground, and a fountain to run around in all within the park. the stage is used all summer for shakespeare in the park. this park is also one of the safest, considering there is a police station in the middle of it.
