here everything from dorm rooms to dances to giveaways are posted by teachers and the headmaster. (lost something? post it. sign ups for dueling club to extra charms class, remedial potions, everything's here!)

the dungeons
deep under the well-protected walls of hogwarts are the dungeons. chilly, murky, and a mite frightening, they aren't usually the hot spot for student activity. unless you include detentions.

above the dungeons, yet still underground and just as chilling, the lower level is home to the slytherin house students. not only that, but the potions classroom is located there, along with the potions office and storeroom, and the cellar.

the black lake
generally placid and serene, the lake is a great hangout on any day, in any sort of whether. Ice skating, swimming, or simply laying out and enjoying oneself can be accomplished here (throughout different times of the year, naturally). but be careful! there are more than fish inside these seemingly calm waters.

hidden inside the muggle train station of king's cross, platform 9 3/4 is the reception point of the hogwarts' express. from here, hogwarts students are shuffled onto the bright red steam engine and chugged off to school for the better part of a year. wave goodbye, it's time for school once more!
