Respect From The Mods? Here?!, HELL NO!

man.. I was just in chat and saying how happy I was that I just found my favourite song of all time (btw its rap a major factor in this)(ultra rare) and a mod (shall remain nameless (the reason?: because you mods are a people and are represented as a whole) unless that person chooses to say so) comes in and says " I hate rap" I asked him if he hated nelly chingy jarule etc ( commercial rappers)
and he says yes
then I say but do you hate tupac nas kanye west?
and he says yes
for those of you who dont know these rappers- they are some of the not as well known rappers (thank god) because they dont rap about cars and girls and money, they rap about life and are highly respected amung real rap fans.
then this mod shows no respect and another member joins in with smart ass remarks as if it were ok since a mod was disregarding all rights for me to voice my opinions.
all I really did was quit and say "...homos..." which I could argue wasnt aimed at them.. but it was.
now, I want some god damn respect because I know we have a million rock fans I absolutely hate rock, but I dont go into it and show no respect, Im not going to say what I want to say about rock, pop and all other genres, because I will probably get banned from these forums by the frankly hypocrytical mod team- whose opinions and words I respect but obviously isnt mutual.

I spose he has a point TakaM, but still, maybe You treat your rap music like royalty TaKA.

So maybe we should respect that, and get on with our lives.

the first post I saw you make was "I hate rap"
I asked if you hated nas etc you said yes

I dont take it personally I take it from the whole mod team, youre a representative.

man, I dont know what morals for music rock or other genres have for their own respect towards their music, but I put rap above religion. so yes you should respect that.

I listen to rap... A lot. Of course, I don't bother buying music CDs, and most of it is on the radio, and when I hear "HO!!" and "20,000 inch RIMZZ" and "STICK THAT KEY UP IN THE IGNISHIN!!1" every 3 minutes, I grow to hate it, but that's just the new stuff...

i dont wanna sound mean or anything but takaM i think u r taking this too personal and seriously, i like rap myself, if i asked someone if they liked it then im not gonna start listing names off and askin em again, if they dont like rap then, why ask em about rappers, it doesnt make any sense to me

ok if you think Im over re-acting try this:
Ive made enemies because I like rap, at forums, at school.
Ive gotten to the point of hating people because of it, people have left my school because of me, people have left forums because of me, Ive tried to avoid even getting into this here. now most of you post endlessly about problems at school, now if you dont have people respecting your opinions, you either leave or make them leave, it basically come down to wether theyre out numbered or not, they leave and vice versa. I know Im probably the only one here that likes rap as passionately as I do. but I aint leaving, Im here for spriting basically because my other forums arent big on sprites but I reign, but here I regin only in sprites but there Im a repsected figure of authority, I know youre thinking there's there and here's here, but Im the same person in both places probably unlike some of you.
so if you guys make a topic about say... youre being harrassed by your ex girlfriend I guess I could flip the topic and flame the crap out of everyone, but I didnt- mutual respect showing there.

TakaM, calm down, Rap is whatever you make of it, it has its highs, lows, and its likes, and dislikes. I personally do not fully "like" rap. In my eyes, its OK. But do not overreact about such things no matter how much you like them.

rappers hate other rappers wether it be east vs west or they left their crew for another label, but they all listen to each others music when the hate the person wow look thats the opposite of what you said, they know real rap. you have to treat rap as two seperate genres: real rap and fake rap , DO NOT GROUP THEM, because little kids think gangsta rap about cars girls money drugs is all there is and thats the generation forming and is killing the culure I love. thats why Im trying to make it clear that the media has ruined what I love- what I live my life by.
whats basically going on here is the media releasing a new bible when people like me love the old bible, when people like you love the new one and rule out the old one, maybe that example shows exactly how I feel.

You got just like this when I said I hated rap too... What's your deal? If you're gonna get all ass-hurt when people say they hate rap, don't go around asking "Do you like rap?" It's just common sense.

the only thing i dislike about this thread is the generalization you placed on the mod team... thats just not right man.

mammy; youre allowed to have your likes and dislikes; youre not allowed to use them while adminning or modding on the forum, we had a discussion about this once before :p

What are you talking about Metal? He didnt get in trouble or anything when I said "I hate rap"... -_-;; there was NO admin abilitys or mod abilities used at all... As a matter of fact, no shred of any action was taken against him; so umm... If youre telling me to not have my opinions becuase im an admin, then I can tell you where to stick that thought :p XD

RECAP: I didnt "USE" any opinion with my adminning or modding. No action was taken. Only thing said was "I hate rap", and Taka exploded. :p ive got logs lol
