The Lock-In will be held Friday Oct. 30 starting at 1800, and ending on Saturday Oct. 31 at 1200 for a grand total of 18 consecutive hours. As the Lock-In will be held over Halloween, I do intend to bring some scary/creepy anime, along with just some random stuff. If you have been itching to show an anime at the club, feel free to bring it to the Lock-In (though, I'd prefer you let me know ahead of time what you intend to bring, via posting on this thread or with a PM). Also, if you have a request for an anime that you want to watch during the Lock-In, let me know (again, preferably with a post on this thread or a PM) and I'll see if I can't find it (I only ask that it is a title not on the ASC list)

The tentative list with the Halloween theme thusfar is:

Requiem From the Darkness
Hell Girl
Hellsing Ultimate (Volumes 1-4)
Ghost Stories
xxx Holic (season one and the movie)
Soul Eater (subs only, series not yet dubbed)
Resident Evil: Degeneration

Other anime that I may bring include:

AMV Hell (1, 3, 4, CE)
Full Metal Alchemist: Premium OVA Collection
Potemayo
.... and whatever else strikes my fancy when I go through my collection.

I just want to state that you have an awesome selection for the lock in. It looks really good, and definitely has the Halloween feel.

That you did, and I'm thankful for it. In all honesty, I probably would have forgotten about Soul Eater for the lock-in had you not reminded me.

Selection looks good. Did you know that there are OVAs for Potemayo?

OVAs, I did not know. I knew they had a few short animated specials like omakes, with Potemayo growing really big, then multiplying, but I was not aware that they had full length OVAs.

Okay: For club business- Here is a selection from my collection that I could reasonably bring. If you have a request, please post it (or e-mail me). Note: I did not include any titles that I have already stated on the first post of this thread, any anime that is still on the List, anything on my external hard-drive, or any "suprise" anime that I have lined up for Theme Nights.

Ah! My Goddess (I, Flights of Fancy)
Arcade Gamer Fubuki
Azumanga Diaoh

How about Shikabane Hime, it is on Hulu, also Kurokami and Natsume Yujinchou are on Crunchyroll, those three fit.

Okay, I now have the time set for the Endless Eight Endurance Contest: 0450 (and 49 seconds) which SHOULD put us at ending at 0808 (and 8 seconds) exactly, assuming there are no playing problems.

Basic description of the contest: All 8 episodes of the Endless Eight arc for the second season of the Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya will be shown back-to-back (-to-back-to-back-to-back, etc.). As this is an endurance contest, any participants will be required to stay in the room for the duration of the marathon, and must stay conscious.

Rules for the contest:
All openings and endings will be shown, there will be no skipping.
No sleeping during this time and ideally no leaving the room (though if you need a bathroom break, go only during an opening or ending).

Prizes will be awarded, but have yet to be determined.
