I am looking for people to split a room at Otakon with, the best I can figure we would be going to the Baltimore Mariott, it is 239 a night and that is with "4" guest. I am looking for 6-8 people, that way we could split it more than the 4 ways which would be 239. I have myself and my brother already in on this so I need 4-6 more people.

Oh and very important, we need people with cars, neither I nor my brother have them.

Let's see other things to know, Otakon is 70 dollars this year, you have to pay for parking, at the Mariott it is 28 dollats a day, we will split that with the people who drive us there, and Baltimore Mariott is a bit of a walk to the Convention Center, but nothing too hard, Co-ed is fine, I need info as soon as possible, I'm not reserving till I have 4 people at least, and one has to have a vehicle.

I have a car that can seat 4 comfortably and 5 if necessary (though the people in the back will need to be sure to give each other room). I would of course prefer to split the cost of gas evenly, and parking 'should' be covered by the Hotel. there is room in the trunk for about one large travel bag per person. I'd prefer a spot on a bed if possible. I have a decent job, so I should be able to pay my share no matter how many people go. Have you guys already reserved the room? Also, what nights are you registering the room for? Get back to me asap please!

Sad sad news I'm afraid. Not only can I not get out of that summer class (it is specifically needed for my database admin concentration), its looking like I'm going to have to fend for myself when it comes to sustenance and bills this summer, meaning I won't make enough to afford a trip to otacon. So sorry guys!

So in some sort of cosmic prank the first guest announced in Jason David Frank, Tommy from Power Rangers. I doubt that he would sway anyone on the fence about going, but DEAR GOD IT'S TOMMY FROM POWER RANGERS. So now I want to go even more, and this one guest was aimed square at me(and my brother I guess, I mean his favorite growing up was Tommy, I was more of a Jason guy)

So anyone want to go now.... who has a car?

I am looking for a place to crash and I have an SUV that can seat 5 with plenty of room in the trunk area also might rent a turtle for extra cargo as long as people split the cost of fuel and parking I am all for it.

Super in advance but I squatted on a room during the Otakon room giveaway, if I can't find another room to get into I do have one.

Same hotel, much cheaper

924 total for the weekend, going by last year's rate 28 dollars a night, 112 dollars for parking all weekend so together, cheaper than the room last year.

I am just throwing that out there.

I can easily cancel too, as long as I do it by July 19 next year, so if anyone is trying to get a room together I can cancel it.

On an unrelated note, how much do you think getting into Magfest altogether(room, ticket, gas, parking, etc.) is before food and dealer's room?

Assuming 3 nights at the hotel, since it's a 4-day con...

Room - $86/person with 6 in a standard room
Parking - $14/person, 2 card for 3 days
Gas - idk, maybe $20 a person?
Group reg - $30 before Halloween, and I'm gonna get one together

Total - $150, plus an arm and a leg for the dealer's room
