Arianna Calder was the kind of girl that was shy and quiet, yet beautiful. She was a wiz in every subject and had a 4.0 Grade Point Average. She didn't have many friends and wasn't as social as most people were. She was kind to everyone, and wasn't rude to them under any circumstances. Even if they were rude to her, she'd think that they had a plausible reason and wouldn't say anything back, instead she would just let them blow off their steam. Everyone loved her, even if she didn't attempt to make many friends.

[???] Jefferies was the quarterback of football team . Everyone loved him, and he was one of the most social people at the school. Every guy wanted to be him and every girl wanted to date him. He loved going to parties and hanging out with all the popular people. He could be a real jackass sometimes, too.

[???] Sutphin was on [???] Jefferies' football team . He was just as fun loving, but wasn't as social. The two had been friends since grade school and they did almost everything together. It was because of [???] Jefferies that [???] Sutphin had even joined the football team. He was kind of anti-social, and didn't like making too many friends. He was shy, and smart. But everyone loved him anyway.

Arianna Calder and [???] Jefferies were one of the school's unexpected couples. They did so many things together and spent every moment they could hanging out or talking on the phone. There were times when Arianna Calder would go to her study groups and [???] Jefferies would go to his parties, but they were so in love. Everyone thought they were going to be together forever. They were the definition of the term 'opposites attract'.

But, after that day, everything changed. The earthquake had changed a lot of people. [???] Jefferies had been one of those injured at Santa Monica University, and because of this became more irritable, and lashed out a lot. Arianna Calder was still as kind as could be, but she didn't know if she could deal with the new side of her boyfriend. She didn't like what had become of him.

Arianna Calder and [???] Sutphin had always been friends. Never really good friends, but friends none the less. They had met through [???] Jefferies a few years back, but never really talked much. Then one day [???] Jefferies got particularly violent, and hit Arianna Calder in the middle of the hallway. [???] Payne stepped in to calm his friend down, and Arianna Calder started seeing him in a new light. Within days the two were going out to dinner and such together, always keeping it secret from [???] Jefferies.

Will Arianna Calder and [???] Sutphin's feelings for each other overcome everything? Will [???] Sutphin decide that friendship comes before relationships? Will Arianna Calder run back to her highschool sweetheart and leave [???] Sutphin in the dust? Will the two be able to keep this all from [???] Jefferies? Or will this love triangle just crush them all?
