This is a redo of an old art(The old one on the right). I totally redid the pallete and changed the shading. I just can't seem to shade the shirt. Any Suggestions?

Definitely change the shirt, as well as the light source. It looks like pillow shading (see the demons of pixel art or whatever).
Still a great improvement over the old one.

Never ever use pillow shading. Pillow Shading is bad, and terrible. Use lighting from top left.

How did I use pillow shading? You could say I used it on the old one, but not on the new, I used shading from the top left. (Remember, old on right, new on left)

Sorry. But the light sources are different. The shoes come from straight up the head from top left, and the knees from the right... unless there is no shading on the knees.

There's not really much shading at all, but from what i can see you have 3 different light sources; top down for the hair and shoes, close to strait on for the arms, and somewhere in between the two for the legs.

It could be considered as having two light sources actually, one on the left, one on the right. Not that that's any better...
