Screw that, heres the game: Locked in is a Zombie survival game. The player has barricaded themself into their house and must attempt to fight off wave after wave of zombie. The game was created in 6 weeks using the torque game engine, with 1 additional week of prototyping prior. For info on who made what in the game, see credits. Game Features: - 3 different unlockable weapons. - 3 different zombie types. - The ability to throw weapons that are encumbering you. - Barricades that can be shot through and repaired to hold off zombies. This was a group project for my uni course. Feel free to give feedback, so I can get a feel for what was good in the game and what wasn't, but keep in mind nothing is going to be getting changed. There are some known bugs in the game, but I am more after design feedback then bug fixing so that I can learn from this project. Wow... That was great, and ran 10x faster than an 3D GM game I've played. Great job, you and your team did really good. I can't to see more... that is if you'll be making more.

Making games is what I hope to get into career wise. Next semester (assuming I pass all my exams) I will be making a 3d game from scratch using C++ and Open GL as one of my university projects. I'm trying to get a start on it now so I can make something impressive, don't get your hopes up to high though this sort of a task wont be easy so likely will be pretty average.

Great job Zeid. The graphics were all very nice, although I didn't really like the ceiling texture. It just looked kind of stretched out and unrealistic. I'm not sure I really liked the overall purple-ish color of the house.
Other than that, the game was very fun. (oh, and even though I doubt you will do it, multiplayer would be awesome in this game) This post has been edited by ninjutsu63 on Jun 2 2009, 12:02 AM |

Level design was by someone else, and the house textures were applied last minute.
![]() I'm afraid it's really unlikely we will ever put in multiplayer. Although that was the person who came up with the original game concepts goals. -------------------- ![]() - Pixel Class - Learn the Zen of Pixel Art. |
