Hrm....I don't know...maybe it was just me, but I'm a bit disappointed.
There were some points I likes and junk, but...I don't know I just wasn't really happy after watching it.
WCC - January 23, 2005 01:31 AM (GMT)
Very good Cy learned that it was his sprit that resisted Brotha Blood or was it the villan who learned that

Yeah, that's how I'm feeling about this. It just felt lacking.

KICKASS!!!!!
Ah, soo great. Starfire's full blown exploding starbolt was FREAKIN AWESOME! And the Blood/Cyborg showdown was GREAT! Cyborg's speech was so cool, props to his VA for making him sound so spiffy.
AND MAS Y MENOS HAD A CRUSH ON STARFIRE <333333
StarryEyes - January 23, 2005 01:32 AM (GMT)
I love it! Very cool.
Cy's back! yay!
I really liked the part with Mas y Menos bringing Star presents. I would have liked it better if it had been Speedy but this was less cliche.
GreenTeaFlame - January 23, 2005 01:32 AM (GMT)
I liked that episode sorta. I wish that when Mas y Menos were going all  over SF, Robin shoulda gotten jealous!
Robin+Starfire 4ever - January 23, 2005 01:33 AM (GMT)
I thought what Cyborg did was awesome. Mas y Menos are so cute! That was funny when they showed they had a crush on Star!

Yay, but it's kinda hard to get jealous over a 7 year old.

I have a the same feeling in my head just like it's me who resists idiots it's at heart not in your circitry
Robin+Starfire 4ever - January 23, 2005 01:35 AM (GMT)
I think that Robin laughing was the perfect reaction.
Flare - January 23, 2005 01:36 AM (GMT)
It was a good eppie. Sadly, Season three was very dissapointing.... Other than X, Haunted, and a few others, but this eppi kinda..mabey, sorta saved it.I guess.
:dunno:
Mas Y Menos with the crush was hilarious.I loved it.And Robins face was cute!!
DiamondDustPixie - January 23, 2005 01:38 AM (GMT)
Yeah, the speech and the fighting was good...but it seemed like it was lacking something. I liked the Part I better actually, perhaps I was expecting too much from this episode, but it just seemed blah to me. And it seemed a bit rushed again, and the fighting at the end between Cyborg and Brother Blood was a bit weak. I mean Cy was getting his ass kicked and then he mystically just regenerates....that was just weird O.o
Not only that but after wards it was like Brother Blood was nothing...and even then at the end Cy was like that was a one time thing...pretty sloppy way of taking out Brother Blood if you ask me....
SilverDiamond - January 23, 2005 01:40 AM (GMT)
Dude! I wwas right! Bumble Bee was made leader!
Yeah, and Mas and Menos....crush on Starfire, didn't really see that coming. I love the little guys!
simultaneousjoy - January 23, 2005 01:44 AM (GMT)
Pretty good. Though I feel like something is missing.
7/10
Ariel - January 23, 2005 01:48 AM (GMT)
In a way, it was good, but like how everyone has stated, it was lacking something. It was kinda weird with the whole 'spirit' thing, although i was guessing that. but how they displayed it, i didn't see that coming.
but there were good parts to it, like MasYMenos crushing on Starfire and the look on Robin's face. It was funny. And it also shows that the Teen Titans aren't the Teen Titans without all five together
SilverDiamond - January 23, 2005 01:49 AM (GMT)
Yeah, I was all  when Cyborg grew back everything. That was weird. But this one was cool and funny.
SuNnYDaZe - January 23, 2005 01:51 AM (GMT)
Yeah, now that I've got out of my fan girl mode, I must say that it was missing something, but I did prefere it over part 1. Greatly. Part one was missing something entirely. Mas y Menos made it barable. We need more of them.
The other thing that annoyed me was that they did the weird things with Starfire's eyes again. Ack. She looks so awkward. They do it in all the season finales.
Kour'el - January 23, 2005 01:53 AM (GMT)
I was kinda grossed out by the fact that Brother Blood had his arms and whatnot sliced off.
The end was really rushed, I would have liked more interaction between the teams...
SilverDiamond - January 23, 2005 01:58 AM (GMT)

Telly - January 23, 2005 01:59 AM (GMT)
The eppi kind of went by quickly. I thought it would be better than it was but o well. .
I can't wait for season 4 to star! We need some r/s fluffage!
SilverDiamond - January 23, 2005 02:02 AM (GMT)
Yes! More fluffage! But, you guys are right. This one was kind of rushed.
Kakyoin - January 23, 2005 02:03 AM (GMT)
Well. That sucked.
Hard.
I'm not sure when I realized we were approaching a point of no return. I think it was near the beginning. I saw the name "David Slack" at the bottom of the screen. And then it definitely hit me how bad it was going to be.
But in the end, let's put it this way.
He's probably the worst they've got. Brother BLood takes a lot of control and restraint. He can't be comically tittering all the time, but he also can't be pure menace. He needs a perfect balance.
Unfortunately, the episode concept allows for neither extreme and it doesn't allow for any middle ground. The second I saw him as a robotic figure, I knew we were in trouble. Unfortunately, the episode's pacing is again horribly slow, jumping from act to act without a moment of time to savor its good ideas, dwelling too long on the bad ones.
While the animation is good, the final resolve is depressing. And the cute moments are fleeting and the bad ideas are monumental. The clean resolve to the situation leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
2/5
Disappointment abounds.

Same here. I felt... slighted, almost. Perhaps it's because the "big fight" wasn't that big, and the main problem was resolved in such a bizarre way.
Kour'el - January 23, 2005 02:03 AM (GMT)
I just reread my post and realized it may not have been taken the way I meant it.
I was talking about in the beginning when Professor Chang took out the scalpel. Since Brother Blood had robotic arms, I'm assuming he had it all cut off, surgically.
GreenTeaFlame - January 23, 2005 02:06 AM (GMT)
I said I sorta liked it because it was rushed at some parts. They were still fighting Blood til like 2 min. before the show ended, and the ending just didnt seem to flow that well. I hafta say, the ending was slightly corny, other than the MM/SF thingy-that was funny.
Yuna - January 23, 2005 02:08 AM (GMT)
 it was much better them I thought it would be, the crush mas and menos had on Star was sooo funny! But, it wasnt as great as the Apprentince or Aftershock, so it was a little disapointing, but it wasnt like a horrible episode or anything, it just could of been better. I give it a 7 out of 10.

What is it that you don't like about David Slack's material? :dunno:
SilverDiamond - January 23, 2005 02:10 AM (GMT)
Yeah, Brother Blood seems a little desperate if you ask me. Dude, he was obsessed with Cyborg and wanting to be like him. Personally I think he got a little too close when he kept touching Cyborg and holding him like in his face in part one.
Sakame - January 23, 2005 02:14 AM (GMT)
Eh, pretty good. Not bad, not great. 3/5
DiamondDustPixie - January 23, 2005 02:15 AM (GMT)
I was hoping the whole Brother Blood wanting to become Cyborg wouldn't happen...but it did...>_< Brother Blood was fine the way he was...and it sucked how they made Brother Blood seem like a minor threat....in the other finales Slade was all dangerous and junk...even took over the city, but Brother Blood didn't even really do much. I was really hoping Brother Blood would have come off as a better villian....grrr... to the writers!!

It's either his inability to pace anything.
His kindergarten grade dialogue (I refer to the beginning of The Beast Within after the credits).
Or the fact that his understanding of character is minimal at best.
Yuna - January 23, 2005 02:17 AM (GMT)
What happened to Brother blood, did he die or something.
Kakyoin - January 23, 2005 02:19 AM (GMT)
SilverDiamond - January 23, 2005 02:20 AM (GMT)
At the end they said Brother Blood went to jail. I think it was Bumble Bee that said it.
KittyCat918 - January 23, 2005 02:24 AM (GMT)
It was okay. It had its moments, though I found it a little disappointing. The way Cybrog beat Blood was a little...cliche to me, I don't know. I guess I was just hoping for a little more. Season 3 was disappionting, besdies somes episodes like Haunted, X, and a few others. I can't wait for the next episode though! Season four!
Canto_de_amor - January 23, 2005 02:25 AM (GMT)
I thought this episode was not wonderful but it wasn't horrible either. I would like to touch on a couple of things though.
I'm confused. How did Cyborg come back together by using the other robots?!! Or was it a metaphorical thing? That's the problem with cartoons. Rarely do metaphors get interpreted when you watch a cartoon. It's difficult to draw, yet simple to write.
Gosh, I was sooo pathetic throughout the episode. I was worried that Cyborg would never return to the Titans, and during the episode I was reminiscing on the Teen Titan's past and thinking, "It's never gonna be the same!! I never was a Cyborg fan, but he's part of the group!! That's like taking the buns off of a cheeseburger!!!!" So, I was relieved, needless to say, when Cyborg decided to stay with the group.
Other than that, I give this episode a 7/10. They could have done better, but they have worse episodes (cough Betrothed cough).
EDIT: I can't believe Season 3 is already over. On the bright side, I'm hoping Season 4 will be better with it's focus on Raven and all that jazz.
teentitanfan - January 23, 2005 02:26 AM (GMT)
wow, it sounds like u guys either hate or love it. So what is it about mas y menos having a crush on starfire, can someone give me details. ill watch next time it shows.
Kakyoin - January 23, 2005 02:27 AM (GMT)
Just a thought.
I liked this episode better (barely) when it was called "Only Human".
