Title: Crash Speculation

lostandlonelyx - September 13, 2004 05:07 AM (GMT)
Holy crap. i just saw the preview for Crashed [upcoming Teen Titans Episode] and well, its hilarious. ok it starts off like this:

Beast Boy puts some Computer Game CD into cyborg's main power cell or something. then cyborg plugs himself into the main power cell to charge overnight or whatever. then the CD beast boy put in him does something to him and he becomes some psycho dilusional machine thing and whatever he sees turns into food or something. then they cut to a scene where cyborg visualizes robin as a piece of steak and is about to eat him when starfire pushes cyborg out of the way. then, it cuts to a scene where cyborg is walking around the streets of Jump City and he's about to eat a stop sign. something like that.

final words: i think this episode is going to be hella funny.

Starchaser - September 13, 2004 06:15 AM (GMT)
I saw that too, I didn't see Starfire jump in front of Robin though, I can't wait to see that comercial again!

elmatto - September 13, 2004 06:43 AM (GMT)
crud...i missed it.

tulleskirt - September 13, 2004 10:21 AM (GMT)
I saw it. :D looks quite funny, I've gotta say. At the end, I think Robin jumps out really quickly, and throws a net over Cyborg like an animal. O__o

AdamantEve - September 13, 2004 02:10 PM (GMT)
"Steak sauce... lots and lots of steak sauce!"

Hilarious! I could hardly wait.

XtheSuperSaiyajin - September 13, 2004 02:46 PM (GMT)
Yea that one does look like it's gonna be a good episode. "We need gravy and lots of it!!!" then he lunges at Robin (who looks like a steak) with his mouth open. I bet he imagines that net Robin threw at him in the preview is licorice or spaghetti.

I think it's gonna have Brother Blood in it, maybe he's the one who infected that computer game CD.

Flare - September 13, 2004 03:46 PM (GMT)
yea i saw that. i think we need a funny epi. it looked hilarious. i cant wait. :giggle: :D ;)

it wasnt Brother Blood it was BB! :groovy:

Clown Prince of Crime - September 13, 2004 04:05 PM (GMT)
Ya, both Starfire and Raven push him out of the way as a freaked out Robin is about to get eaten.

The previews are making this out to be pretty funny, but I'm honestly becoming a little worried about it, because from the descriptions I've read about this episode on the internet, it sounds like the typical "Fantastic Voyage" episode. Almost every flippin' TV show that has ever existed seems to always do this premise, which is as follows: One character has something wrong with them inside, so the other shrink themselves to go inside his body and get rid of what's wrong. I guess they could still make it interesting, but man, I see this premise used all the time!

deathwing - September 13, 2004 07:42 PM (GMT)
I really need to see the commerical. I missed it damn it!!!!!!!!!!
 this will be enjoyble i hope.

romantic125 - September 13, 2004 10:52 PM (GMT)
yeah, a lot of shows have done it, but maybe that's why they're doing it too...as a joke? I don't know...I liked Futurama's version

TheUltimateNewbie - September 13, 2004 11:02 PM (GMT)

Starfire4ever - September 13, 2004 11:19 PM (GMT)

They never show it on the Saturday airing. I think they only show it during the Sunday night one and during the weekly airings of TT on Miguzi.

Yea I know it's BB that puts the CD in but what I said was that maybe it's Blood who infects the CD with the virus.

LOL. that futurama episode was so awesome. but anyway, i think its funny that almost every cartoon has some kind of episode where the whole team or whatever goes inside one of the friend's bodies. or whatever..

Kakyoin - September 14, 2004 06:57 AM (GMT)
It's a homage to a great sci-fi movie classic. It's obligatory, really, and it's always sort of fascinating to see what everyone does.

Though I think Futurama has them all beat.

"Ball Room" on the elevator.

"You'll never guess where I've been!" -- Zoidberg. Stole the show, that did. And funny how Fry had been rendered sterile back in season 1.

But, hey, sounds fun. Get to learn about Cy, maybe, after we get through all the comedy... possibly...?

Awww, don't worry Telly. I haven't seen the comircial yet etheir. So you're not alone!

Terrace - September 15, 2004 11:29 PM (GMT)
Just saw the commercial. I can tell ya, it looks like a great episode. Beast Boy, you naughty boy. Pay more attention to the games you buy. :nono:

tulleskirt - September 15, 2004 11:44 PM (GMT)
Heh. I love the fact that the Betrothed speculation thread was over 50 pages, and this one is only 2. XD

Annnyway...Yeah, I hope it doesn't end up being some lame "let's shrink and have him swallow us" episode, like so many others have been. Buuut...judging by the commercial, I think we're in for a treat. :)

I like Beast Boy's line..."Not sweet!"

SilhouettedShadow - September 16, 2004 12:03 AM (GMT)
To me, this looks like it will be a very well-rounded episode, enough humor to keep us laughing, and enough action to keep us on the edge of our seats.
Plus, it's a Cyborg episode, boo-YAH. Cy's episodes have acctually been my favorite episodes,(Only Human, Deception) unfortunately, Cyborg is one of the most bashed characters in the show, but if you ask me, he's hilarious, and adds a great portion of action to the show. This looks like a good episode.

Cyborg looks like he's about to devour the whole city. Creepy...

ShadowFox - September 16, 2004 10:30 PM (GMT)
Don't forget Robin! Hey and if the episode doesn't have gravy in it I'll.....I'll write an angry letter  (just kidding :) )

"Now open wide! *Fry opens his mouth* Guess again!"

Haha, that was a great episode.

Hmm, I'm looking forward to this episode. I'm interested to see how Cy looks on deh inside.

Got to love the gravy. Anywho, hope it's better than betrothed. that was dissapointing. The comercials look good, But I'm surprised at how unaffected I am by the upcoming episode.

mood of the moment:  :p *dances around like our English teacher*

lostandlonelyx - September 18, 2004 03:17 AM (GMT)

Miss Starfire - September 18, 2004 03:55 AM (GMT)

Flare - September 18, 2004 04:29 AM (GMT)

What if Robin gets all paranoid about Starfire being a Princess and stuff? or what if they go back to the beginning and there is absolutely no fluff???   :sweatdrop:

Flare - September 18, 2004 04:34 AM (GMT)
 :eek4: WHAT? :eek2: omg o no...

Miss Starfire - September 18, 2004 04:38 AM (GMT)
Man! I am so upset about "Betrothed" that if there is no real fluff in "Crash" I'll take CN headquarters with my magic sticks and brooms!!

lostandlonelyx - September 18, 2004 05:23 AM (GMT)
c'mon guys, betrothed wasn't that bad. i for one liked it. actually, i thought it was great. and i bet Crashed is going to be great too.

sandkia - September 18, 2004 05:34 PM (GMT)
Yeah it wasn't that bad. And 'Crash' is not going to be a star/rob episode, more Cyborg, but they better have at least ONE small fluff scene  !!! They can't do this too us!!!!

tulleskirt - September 18, 2004 06:05 PM (GMT)
Uh, why do you guys think there will be a fluff scene in Crash? it's a CYBORG episode.
