I wanted to know, before I started posting chapters of a story I'm working on, is the other board coming back, or are we here permanently? Because if the other board is returning, then I'll wait to post. If not, I'd like to post a couple of chapters for feedback.

From my knowledge, I'm on of few who read the annocement when the board came back to us the last time, it was some idiot turned Darkwave for 'possible illgeal activity' or something like that.. basicly against the sites terms. BUt the investigated and Darkwave explained to them and all and we got our board back. But this time, they are actully going through the board.Unlike last time. And from what I know, after asking TUN he said we'd probably be switching servers.. But I'm not sure of it all. BUt that's my personal knowledge.

I have no idea. The problem for DW is that the host is open from 9AM - 5PM Eastern time but he's on the west coast so by the time he gets home from school they've already closed. He's gotta find time one morning before school or something to call them and tell them to open up his account so that he can get all the data pertaining to the shrine so that he can put it up on another host. They've since ignored his e-mails so they are being a bunch of asses about it.

okay...i just reeeeeeeeeally need the site to come back. its okay if like it takes a while...but in my procrastinating ways I have not saved my fanfic....*is incredibly dumb*...

is there anything we can do to help with the problem?

People please be patient with the new Shrine. Ok? I'm in no real rush to get the new shrine up & running. Be patient.

The new shrine will be back in a few days. However, we gotta start from scratch. We lost EVERYTHING since they won't let DW get the files back. This means no posts, threads, skins, etc. We'll do a post count transfer since it would suck to start over for everyone.

No... nothing? Oh, jeez, that REALLY stinks. Well, at least it will be coming back-- this substitute is really wacky for me and only lets me use it half the time. o.O

And when you say there's going to be a post count transfer... is that from this shrine or the new one? 'Cause it won't even make a difference if it's not from the new one-- I have, like, 250 fewer posts here than there. *laughs*

And I know I keep ranting on and asking and questions and stuff, but I have a couple more. (Just two, I swear. :p) One, will former events and happenings from the shrine be continued when it's restarted from scratch, like TUCD, fanfiction contests, and the FCC? And second, will we have to register again, or will our old accounts be transferred?

A non-TT category would be cool, probably, but I'm better for the TT-related stuff; that is, unless I were to write some HP junk, and I prefer writing TT over HP, so yeah. Eh, and now I'm rambling, so I'll just stop now. XD

I'm better at TT...but lately I've been like psychowriterblocked. So I tried an original and I sort of fell in love w/ the plotline so...yep...by springish I hope it's farther along...I'm only on chapter one.

This year will be a little different. I want to give everyone the same opportunity and reduce the popularity contest we had last Fall :)

Anyway, I think I'll change my username to my new favorite movie(eventhough it hasn't showed yet). So if anyone copies it, they won't be found or heard from ever again. LOL. But my old names are up for grabs.

We have used this shrine as a backup several times now. I guess it will stay open in case something happens. I hope it doesnt but we never know.

Yes ma'm. We also had fics that were completed against fics that were not. Some other fics were 10 chapters long while others were 25+ chapters long. It was kinda unfair. But hey! We learn from our mistakes! This Spring 06 Fan Fic Awards will ve different. Yet, it is all for the best. Besides, nothing can be more strenuous than TUCD :p
