Actually, EEG is not that good ... their apparent success only lies on Joey, Twins, Eason (used to be... and you an see why Eason didn't continue his contract with EEG).. and maybe Nicholas Tse. But other than those artists, the rest are 'failures' to put it in the worst way possible. They have wayyy to many artists that they sign but fail to promote. I really do hope Raymond doesn't fall into that dump of EEG's... Ray's singing is not a problem, his dancing is definitely not a problem... so if something isn't going well, EEG is surely to blame.

I heard that Bosco is working on his album. WTH, he gets to have an album before Ray. Not saying Bosco can’t sing or anything, but Ray had been waiting to release his own album long before Bosco. Now, he has to film a new series, so I doubt he will have time to record and promote.

I dont know why Ray has to wait that long to releases album?

actually...i heard...at the EEG New Years dinner in the beginning of the year, they were gona annouce the ray was joining them..

however, at the time, ray wasnt in HK, so therefore he couldnt make an appearance at EEG and so nothing has been said about it...

i think EEG is a 'good' choice because it has the money..if they think a artist has certian potential, they will sign him....and use lots of money to give them goos songs and etc...

EEG has Joey Yung, Twins, Nic Tse, Kenny, Deep, Sherman, Ken , Mandy, Don, Sun Boy'z, Vincy...Jaycee...lots of others

it actually has alot of artists that are "on the way" to making it...Sherman and Ken were winners of the EEG song competition thing from 2 years ago, Sherman was the winner, while Vincy was second place

I do not see flexibility in Joey Yung's schedule what so ever. ALL companies work their artists 'hard out', if they decide to promote them.
As for EEG artists are not failures, compare them to artists of other companies (apart from Joey and Twins). Deep.. yeh we heard him but EEG promoted him less and he stuffed up his own career by taking drugs. Sun Boy'z.. do you really see them as successful? They can't even sing. Kenny.. cute popular EEG is kinda promoting him, but do you see him as a potential singer standing as high as Hacken, Eason and Leo. I don't even want to go into Ken and Sherman. Generally, EEG signs so many singers, some can't even sing, EEG fails to promote some.

if you say Paco isn't a good manager... gotta think again. Although Justin doesn't have any new songs yet, at least he has concerts and shows that tell the HK public that Justin still exists. Justin's only been in the music industry for how many years? 3 years so far and look at his popularity. AND Justin doesn't rely on appearance to give him extra credits. Like many people say, Justin is 'sut lek pai'. I rather Justin produce great quality songs using a long time then release songs that the public doesn't even bother listening (wow Kenny released 3 albums or so, but the quality of the songs and his voice ...)

i have nothing against Justin..i like his songs alot too..and i think he's really hard working...it's just that justin has held so many concerts..you can actually hear his singing/songs get progressively not as interesting concert by concert...he himself has told the media that he is sick of having so many concerts...and in the [Justin and the HK Philharmonic] concert, you can actually hear his voice not being as good as the [Justin One Good Show] concert..

yes leehom is under song bmg and is successful...but he's not a HK singer...he did not start his career in HK...so it's a totally different story...and therefore you cannot use him to compare

i'm not saying that EEG is REALLY successful...you cant actually point to ONE company in HK and say they are really successful...coz in HK all the successful artists are spread out in many companies..

ALL i'm saying is EEG will be willing to put out the money to promote their new artists...and not like other companies, only giving out a little money...there are a lot of really talented singers out there, and their company is not willing to give them the sufficient promotion, and therefore cannot be as successful and good as the really popular and 'mainstream' artist

and lastly..i think it's unfair to compart Kenny to Eason/Hacken/Leo...the later 3 have had YEARS of experience in the singing field...Kenny has had like 4?...so you cannot use them to compare like that

Sure, maybe Ray's not in EEG as of yet but with such remarks, I'm not happy either. Edison may have potential but perhaps he's stepping further than he should. Twins also mentioned that Edison does not remember his roots. EEG was what brought Edison to what he is today.

@ Reeve.....haha..i have no idea why it's not announced..but then it was the media that came up with it....so..duno if it's just rumours that ray join EEG or what...

in the chatroom for HOG..or some other news/interview thing...didnt ray mention that he was still talking over the details with a record company??..so maybe coz everything isnt finalised, a contract may not yet be signed...so that's why nothing has been said by both parties??

and i also agree about whether EEG is a good company or not...we have no right to judge or decide, coz we only see the basics and the 'front' of the company..we have no idea how they operate internally...and as long as if they did sign ray..and they will use all their resources to promote him..i'm happy :D

@ RLF Lover....i'm a fan of edison...and i totally agree that he's going over the top..he's also implied so many times that EEG had treated him bad and stuff...and i think it's just wrong...like..he's totally forgotten that what he has today..was built upon a lot of what EEG gave him...and i'm angry at edison now :angry:

I wasn't comparing Kenny to Eason etc. but honestly noone can see Kenny reaching that level in the music industry. His singing is just really bad... really bad. Yes one can improve, but seriously his voice isn't made for singing.
I've heard Sherman sing live.. it's not that great. I have nothing against her style, but do you really think it's going to be accepted by the HK public. Her popularity and success relies on people's response.. from my experience of listening and watching the HK music industry, I believe she won't be that successful. But when I'm wrong, you can rub it in my face HAHAHA

edison didnt really say that EEG artists are stupid...he just said something like EEG wants its artists to become 'idols'....like...just pretty faces and nothing else...and that EEG doesnt give much choice for their artists??..i dun really know how to say it properly in english....it's probly coz EEG did treat him unfairly when he was there, he wanted to do something different, is Hip Hop, and EEG wasnt that supportive, they were only supportive after his first go at it was successful.....i mean..compare EEG to a company like SiLLYTHING...that gives a lot of room to their singers to try lots of differenting things...
