What do you guys think of Heart of Greed so far? Are you sastified with Raymond's acting? Are you sastified with HOG's scripts, actions etc etc in general?
My comments: *warning, might contain spoilers!*
Firstly, Raymond's appearance is quite off and on. Like in episode 7, he appears in a flashback (apple green shirt how cute!) for not more than 5 seconds. Then he re-appears again in episode 11, with more scenes. So far I think its okay but i'm starting to agree with the review i read earlier which stated that Ray was just a guest star.
Secondly, I cannot really agree that Ray was just a guest star though .. in the theme video, Ray appeared in the 7th shot which was before Bosco so that made me thought that Bosco was less important than Raymond. Of course, Moses had the most scenes and Bosco had well, some boring scenes.
Back to Ray, his acting so far is pretty good. His role has that character that is making me deeper in love with him than I already am. Potraying a stubborn playboy lawyer is quite unique afterall!
Lets talk in general yeah? I quite dislike Tavia's image this time. Her character is rather annoying and frankly, whats with those bangs?! Okay, so maybe its not her fault, her hairdresser's probably on drugs. Still.... =.="
Bosco's a <3! I really like the way he protects Tavia, such potential in being a boyfriend! like WOMG, was is 700 HKD Tavia borrowed from Bosco for the blackmail case?
All in all, Moses is quite okay... so far that is. Such a jolly character, if he was fatter and had a white beard, everyone would say he's Santa Claus.
Fala Chen, she needs to improve on her cantonese but i didn't find her as annoying as I did before. job well done ^^
The scripts, its funny.. in the beginning. When I first watched episode 1, it gave me the feeling that it'll be really funny and everyone would think it'll be a happy go lucky series but as the theme video depicted, a lot of crying. In episode 11, there was a scene where Fala spoke in English about her oral examination. I was turly touched by that script, so it was really good. ( i even cried T.T )
As of episode 11, I rate it 8/10. Ratings are due to change though. The theme video is really tempting, all the crying and that car accident. I anticipate for the ending.

I can't sastify with Fung's part. In fact, he appeared average few mins each eps ( even less than). So I can't see how he portray this role. Alfred just have to talk and walk, nothing happen with him till now. If that will continue, Fung won't have to pay much time for his scenes. And I doubt that his love will be very very rush cuz it's eps 13 now and he'll die in eps 35. And I heard that till eps 15, he still appeared in few mins that way. >"<, disappointed! So around 20 eps, he'll luv, then say goodbye, then luv, then say goodbye, then cheat, then fight for Sui Sam, then die ...blah blah... It's too too rush. I feel tired of finding his scenes each eps.
The themevideo lied us. It shows most of his scenes in this series. He is a gueststar for sure.
'bout the series, I find it ok. I like 2 characters: Susanna's and Michelle's.
I often hate good perfect guy. As Chi On (Moses), yeah, he is the Santa Claus ( with his laugh =)) ). He is too good to be everyone. Lolz, he is human, aren't angel, so the way he is an angel annoyed me. And the storylines focus on Moses - Linda's love too much. They slowly, slowly fall in luv. However, I think Sui Sam (Linda) dun luv Chi On (Moses). The one and the only she luv is Alfred. But her dream of Alfred broken when they become luvers. Alfred is a weak in mind person, so he keeps everything inside his heart. Tat's why Sui Sam can't live with him. She gave Chi On a chance because she feels Chi On is more safe and he luv her with all his heart. A girl dun need a guy she loves, she need a guy loves her.
I dislike both Gil & Jackie, I think this couple is weird.
'bout Jackie's wedding, my gosh, her mom can let her daughter get married without her acceptable in 21th centuary??? It's can't be. She can get out of this marriage in many ways. She've got a job, can feed herself, she is >18 years old, why her mom can let her? And if she realli dun like, why can't she fighten for her freedom. A big problem is her husband's family. If her husband dun luv her ( i feel it in the way her husband treats her), why he accepted it? And her reason that dun like to hurt his dad-in-law is funny. Lolz, she hurt him cuz she dated with Gil secretly. Well, if oneday, her dad-in-law find the article that Jackie and Gil dated, he'll be hurt more.
Gil is totally selfish and crazy in luv. I can't stand with the way he treats her family. I can't understand his words to his family ( cuz I dun noe Canto), but my friend watch it and said that it's very hurt. Yeah, he luv Jackie a lot, but he must THINK of other ppl, as his family, Jackie's dad-in-law. Jackie dun like to hurt did dad-in-law, Gil said he'll go to tell him --> hurt him. And even his mom in the hospital, he still dun think of her, continue his forbidden love. That's call blind in luv. If he thinks his family is important, he can't do that way.
And now their luv becomes more and more unexpectalbe. Jackie has a baby so Gil MUST got married with her, except everyone. And Jackie suddenly can divorce. Hmm, she dun mind hurt his father anymore? Cuz of the baby? I can accept that she can't stand a marriage without luv, but the way she did is wrong. She had a baby with other man when she still has a husband. That means she cheated his husband. Well, if I'm her husband, why can't I dun get mad with her. So if her husband "plays" her, I think I'll accept with him.
The only one scene that I really wanna watch now is the car crash ^^. I rate it 7 as of eps 13.

Ha Yu-I love this guy and i love his character.He makes the character much more interesting
Louis Yuen-Hes a total butt in the series but hes a seriously good actor, he got me to hate him but everytime after the series i think back about VOH and likes him again!LOLS!
Moses-His character is really good, no comment.
Linda-Her character is really good but she screwed it with her acting.When she trys to talk quick or emo she doesnt sound right, and dont say im judjing her too hard cause since the moment she got the award she knew that people would expect more from her and besides she didnt deserve the award.I just dont like her.
Raymond-i dont really knoiw much about him at this point of the series but i think hes pretty good now

i agree with you fox, i'm starting to accept the fact that Ray's just a guest star. still, we can all look forward to Drive of Life.
in any case, what really annoys me most is the part where Ha Yu or Moses laugh. its realllyyy freaky, frankly speaking.
My mom loves the part where Susana and Michelle argues. i find it quite nice too, those scenes.
at the point of episode 11, i find that the series is going just too slow. and i think its not constant. like at some parts the scripts will be very nice and at other parts it'll just be downright boring.
nevermind, its okay if Ray didnt major his role in this series. we shall all look forward for Drive of Life. i have higher expectations for that series.

Ray apperead only for a few minutes in eps 11 and 12, and 28 SECONDS in eps 13! wanna watch more of Ray! hope in the coming eps there'll be more of him....

Raymond DOES appear as GUEST star. it was stated when they were filming it. but LUCKILY, his role is LARGER than ANY other guest star. (see how important it is?!)
anyways. THERE WILL BE MORE RAY.. just WATCH. lols, i even know wen his "MOST IMPORTANT PART" comes. (ahem*) lols. ep...lols..guess. LOLS

so FAR: i think that the acting is GREAT. everyone's. i HECKA love the BoTa scenes..AND where the "elders" act. lols..the FIRST mom and dad are just BRILLIANT. OF COURSE with the help of uncle bo and second mom, and auntie lei...things are MUCH more interesting!!

Raymond: so far so good, but not much screen time yet
the only thing that is dissapointing is the ending of his character *sighs*
and ohh i like ha yu and michelle yim in the series also .. they're like the fun older ppl
and i like moses, so funny with linda and funny with ha yu .. i know why ppl fnd him annoying character, but i dont know why, i like it! it lightens up the whole series
and dislike 2nd mom and uncle how annoying .. they're like selfish you know ..

yeahh that uncle bo is really getting on my nerves. there was once where keeps talking about how moses stole the 700HKD and he kept on till his big sis had to kick off the dining table. hah! serve him right.
well its alright if Ray's a guest star. like you said vickie, that role is wayyy bigger than any guest star ! and if not mistaken, i've never seen any theme vid with guest stars scenes pratically at every shot and ray comes in ranking at 7th, even before bosco!

so far i loved this series.....quite interesting....and i really like moses character! sooo funny...cracks me up most of the time...but sometimes i find it a bit too exaggerating....like hes trying tooo hard to be funny...its ok overall....i must say linda improved....i used to hate her lots....shes ok in this show....BoTa is ok...they were good...its just that im biased towards Fungyi....out of the elders i like Ha yu the most...he cares about his family and hes fun....ok.........finally....ah fung! hes sooooo cute!!! but i want more scenes of him!!!! oh gosh....in every eps since eps 7 im craning! my neck to see him....but theres like only 5-10 mins of him out of the 45 mins in each eps....its killing me...hoping for more scenes of him soon!

HOG!! is Awesome!!!!...i havent watch a series like this for a while...not just the ray parts are good but the other parts are good too!!!....this series liek really does effect my feelings...like when ever i watch a sad scene i would be like sad!!...its a really good series!!...im looking forward to seeing more of it XD

I do the same as FOX did. Trying to find Ray. Oh he appear in Epi 13 aswell. Umm. I have to watch again. I kind of miss the scene (28 sec. )
I didn't pay much attention to others.
But I have to admit that Mose's character is annoying me with his freaky laugh and stupid look. I don't understand why he has to make his face like a monkey. It's too exaggerate and weird acting.
Actually I quite like Linda. Can't wait to see her having more screentime with Ray. Yoyo look old. I don't feel that she match Ray at all.
