Nicolee stopped her steady walk when the voice interrupted the two's walk.

Excuse me, but do either of you know where a healer's home is? Please, I'm in need,"

Nicolee would have said something, but Brae had beat her too it. Her eyes looked over him, he looked a bit pale and by the way he held his arm she knew it was injured. As Brae moved to one side she moved to the other, a concerned look on her face. "Do you want some help?" She asked in a quiet voice, offering her support.

"Please," said Tristan holding his arm closer to his body. He tried his best not to touch his arm and his hand went quickly to his sword out of habit. "I know your going to ask this, but the cut is from a sword of some type. I got into a scrabble not that far away. The moron nicked me with his sword. Well, I thought it was a nick until I did an once over."

Tristan felt super weak then. He hushed Silvering and looked at the two.

Brae could see how fast his strength was ebbing and feared that he would collapse any moment. She glanced at Nicolee and decided that for both of them to help the man move would slow down their journey and further endanger the stranger's life. Besides, whoever attacked this man might be around and in pursuit. Her eyes landed on the black dragon that accompanied him and thought it may be best if the creature borne the injured man on its back.

But what if the animal was proud and would suffer no rider?

Brae was starting to panic now, but there was no time for hesitation. "Listen, I think it would help speed the journey along if your dragon carries you...so...um...is that alright?" she asked.

Tristan nodded and walked over to Silvering. She swung her tail back and forth as he scrabbled onto her back.

"I don't know if we should fly or what," said Tristan to Silvering as she started to walk. After a few steps, she lifted both of them slightly off the ground and flew 10 feet over Brae and Nicolee.

"I'm just going to follow these two. I don't really trust them right now but they'll do," said Silvering as she kept an eye on the other two.

Nicolee's eyes followed the dragon in the air, awed by it almost. She learned it wasnt a smart thing to keep her eyes in the air when she stumbled over a loose rock in the road. She managed to keep from falling but kept her eyes on Brae infront of her instead of the dragon above her. Her sore muscles had long ago been forgotten once she had seen the dragon in the air.

Brae looked on awkwardly as the man mounted the dragon. It would be so much faster if they could fly, but she felt nervous around the piercing silver eyes of the stranger's travelling companion. She could tell Nicolee was fascinated by the dragon as well, judging by the engrossed way she was staring at the creature as it soared above their heads. A weird shuffling sound startled Brae, and when she looked behind her, she realized the red haired girl had stumbled on something, no doubt caused by the intrigue with that dragon.

"Are you alright?" she asked the girl quietly as she continued walking.

Around them, the crowd was becoming thinner and thinner, meaning that her own house lay not too far away. She looked up and wondered how the injured man was doing, all the while hoping there wouldn't be delays. They had ventured into a more deserted part of the city, and these places often attracted more dangerous hooligans than she would have liked.

"It looks like they've never seen a dragon before," said Silvering snorting very loud.

"It's not everyday you see a dragon Silver, stop starting at them and they won't act weird," commented Tristan pinning his arm closer to his body.

Tristan watched as the crowd thinned out as they made their way. He shook his head and tried to stop the dizzy spell he had. He peered over Silvering's shoulder to see if anything was happening.

Nicolee nodded in response to Brae's question. "I'm fine." She said, as she snuck another look at the dragon. "Just stumbled over something." She said quietly.

Nicolee realized it was easier to walk and found that the crowd had thinned, there were only a few people on the street besides them now. Hopefully it meant that they were almost to Brae's house, it wouldn't be pleasant if the man fell off the dragon.
