Dria scoffed at this city. This cheerful, bright city with its overflowing amount of citizens frantically bustling back and forth across the streets. What pathetic lives these people live! She could not imagine herself being confined to the same life everday--waking up, going to work and serving ungrateful customers, eat, go to sleep. Just the mere thought of it made her shudder, she preferred variety and excitement, which was why she travelled so often.

Her black leather shoes hardly made a south as she walked around the city, studying it and pausing to sneer at the amateur skills that had gone into constructing certain buildings. Why, even the worst architect in her vampire colony could design better structures than these! Oh well, what does it matter? Her original intention for coming to this city wasn't just so she could wander around and mock everything in it. She was here to gather subjects for a certain magical experiment she was designing. Dria had wanted to take her magical skills to a whole new level for a long time now, but she hadn't had the chance to--until now. A cruel smile spread across her lips, she would choose a random home and take any suitable person living in it for her experiment. With that thought in mind, she began her search.

Tristan walked with his hands in his pockets down the dark street. Dinner had taken longer that he thought it would reason Silvering to worry about him when he didn't reply to her thoughts.

He just wanted some alone time.

Tristan's heart ached for a normal life with nothing like how the past few years have seemed like. But as it seemed, his dragon was a huge blessing.

Walking down the street he noticed the woman on the other side. She seemed to be sneering at the buildings as she walked by.

Just another crazy in this town thought Tristan as he walked past her.

Tell me about it replied Silvering.

(OOC: Let's see if I can do this without goofing up on the he/she issue. XD)

A beautiful sound floated its way to the ears of everyone around. If one were to seek the sound out, they would find the source to be what appeared to be an anthro girl with large, silky golden wings and matching hair. She was playing a very strange flute. Half of it was dyed a dark gold, and the other appeared to be black in the dim light of the street lamps. She wore a simple brown outfit, and had an upside-down hat sitting in front of her to collect coins. The tune was uplifting, seeming to stir something in the listener's heart to make them want to smile and listen more. Anyone with an eye for talent could see that this girl was a talented bard. It would take a determined will to resist the simple charms of the tune, although why anyone would bother, as the bard was not doing anything wrong, was a mystery.

-change POV-

Eclipse smiled slightly as he played the flute. He was drawing a crowd. This was one of the most basic bard techniques: playing a tune that made your audience feel good about themselves. Affecting emotions was easy for someone who had been practicing for almost three centuries. Although, someone equally ancient could probably resist the charms if they really wanted to. He wasn't putting too much effort into it. The humans here were not worth the energy expense.

(OOC: I'm trying really hard not to seem like I'm powerplaying. I'm sure that your characters are strong-willed, so if you really don't want them to get the happy-floaty feeling from the song, then they don't have to. Please keep that in mind through the RP. My character is not forcing you to feel anything. Just encouraging you to. smile.gif)

(OCC: As long as my character doens't get his butt kicked during a fight I'm okay smile.gif oh, for the he/she, sorry if I screw it up, lol)

Tristan walked by Eclipse and threw a few coins into the hat. He had been able to tune out most of what was being played as he talked to Silvering. In moments of peace between them, he could get carried away with the flute. Keeping himself in one piece he stopped a few houses down and leaned against it.
