(OOC: Let's see if I can do this without goofing up on the he/she issue. XD)
A beautiful sound floated its way to the ears of everyone around. If one were to seek the sound out, they would find the source to be what appeared to be an anthro girl with large, silky golden wings and matching hair. She was playing a very strange flute. Half of it was dyed a dark gold, and the other appeared to be black in the dim light of the street lamps. She wore a simple brown outfit, and had an upside-down hat sitting in front of her to collect coins. The tune was uplifting, seeming to stir something in the listener's heart to make them want to smile and listen more. Anyone with an eye for talent could see that this girl was a talented bard. It would take a determined will to resist the simple charms of the tune, although why anyone would bother, as the bard was not doing anything wrong, was a mystery.
-change POV-
Eclipse smiled slightly as he played the flute. He was drawing a crowd. This was one of the most basic bard techniques: playing a tune that made your audience feel good about themselves. Affecting emotions was easy for someone who had been practicing for almost three centuries. Although, someone equally ancient could probably resist the charms if they really wanted to. He wasn't putting too much effort into it. The humans here were not worth the energy expense.
(OOC: I'm trying really hard not to seem like I'm powerplaying. I'm sure that your characters are strong-willed, so if you really don't want them to get the happy-floaty feeling from the song, then they don't have to. Please keep that in mind through the RP. My character is not
forcing you to feel anything. Just encouraging you to.
