Locket Tavern
The Locket Tavern is a newly built place and they have already set a reputation as having the best mead in the whole of Ria. All kinds of people come in here for a short rest before continuing on their journey. Most are pretty friendly, but keep your eyes on your purse.

Burling Forest
Burling forest is located along the outline of Gryphon City. This forest is not as dangerous or as ancient as Hemlas, but watch out for dangerous beasts and haunted swamps.

Desolate Plains
A sad looking grass field in the middle of Burling Forest where the Gryphons once inhabited. When these dying creatures fled, the grass turned a parched yellow color which no amount of rain can cure.

A very lively inn with excellent hospitality. There is always something happening at the Apprentice Inn, such as songs, dances, and sometimes, magical performances or displays. Do not plan on getting any rest if you are staying at this inn.

Sandy Clear
The safer part of Hemlas forest, the Sandy Clear is located by the River Run. A haven for smaller animals, especially birds of prey.

Grimace Mountain
Located right at the end of Hemlas Forest, on the northern side. Grimace Mountain is capped with snow year round and the paths are treacherous. While that is so, there are also many treasures to be found within its many caves.

Grounding Cave
Excellent mining spot and the source of the city's wealth. Aside from gold, magic stones have also been known to be found here. Grounding Cave is near the top to middle of Grimace Mountain, and therefore the area can get quite dangerous.

Dorlin Forest
Almost as ancient as Hemlas Forest. Dorlin is located along the more southern part of Ryal City. It is rumored to be haunted, a haven for shape shifters as it contained many caves dotted throughout the forest.

Wayne River
The waters of this river come from the Wayn Falls located in the heart of Dornlin Forest. However, unlike the rest of Ryal City, it is quite peaceful, and the water is exceptionally clean.
