The sound of another sword being drawn startled her as her wolvish senses turned into fighting mode. A low snarling sound issued from the back of her throat as her icy blue eyes fixed themselves on the anthro. Her human mind was screaming stop stop stop!, but the other half merely laughed. Nobody seemed to be moving, but the smell of danger lingered in the cool air.
"I have no business with you, kindly crawl back to whatever hole you came from," a voice taunted. At the back of her mind, Brae recognized the speaker's voice to be her assailant's. Anger risen up in her again as her fierce eyes landed on the man's profile. Her clawed hands tightened their grip on her long knife as she poised herself for an attack.
“At least you know where you came from,” another voice cut in. This one was a strange voice, more high pitched and obviously feminine. In the daze that she was in, she struggled to remember who was this third party. All that came up in her mind was the picture of some sort of cat. Confusion soon replaced anger, and Brae felt herself relax a little. It wasn't until she found that she could see somewhat clearly again that she realized she had changed back into her normal, elven form. She blinked a couple of times, the pale blue faded back into gray. There was a girl and a man in front of her who seemed to be bickering. Brae's hands relaxed its grip on her weapon, her innately friendly nature getting the better of her--she hated it when people fought.
She rushed up to the pair. To the girl, she gave a nervous sort of smile, to the man, she shot him a glare--all traces of her normal shyness fading away as she stared into the face of her offender. "First you jumped out of your tree and tried to kill me, turned me into a nervous wreck, then you go and insult some stranger who hadn't done anything wrong--other than try and attack you--which I see nothing wrong with, by the way, and you think there's absolutely nothing wrong with that? Well, you've got another thing coming, and I sincerely hope I'll never run into you again! Good day to you, sir," she huffed, feeling strangely relieved, then turned away and started to run in the opposite direction as quickly as she could.

Russell burst out laughing when she yelled at him. Of course, he felt shock at first, that the previously stammering girl was suddenly all up and in his face. He felt no guilt or shame as she screamed out his faults--but the anger on her face! The fire in her gray eyes! It was rather amusing as he beheld the girl's hidden spirit. Besides, he always got a laugh out of wrathful outbursts. He watched the girl depart and momentarily debated if he should drag her back so he could finish killing her. Amusing or no--if she got in the way, she would pay. After a moment or so of silence as the pair watched the rageful girl stomp away, the she-cat started to say something about scaring the socks off him, leaving, and jumping her behind her back. He snorted as he watched the anthro back up slowly. Russell had no desire whatsoever to stop her from leaving. Glancing up at the sky, he reailzed how an encounter with these two had drastically slowed down his progress to the Veiled City. He waved a dismissive hand to the cat and lept away, back into the trees, and continued his journey onward. (OOC: so I take it that we're finished here? Or do you want to try and stop my character from leaving? )
