Just thought I'd let you guys know - the old method was to just make a sig for every NPC and then paste it into the posts. As the number of NPCs - and the variety - grew, we decided to make separate accounts for perma-NPCs like KnK, or Serylis.
However, now we have a number of semi-permanent NPCs...while they may never get character sheets, or adv/dis, they'll be around for awhile, and may wind up being recurring. Like Lira, Nekrisia, and Geb & Ela. Even though these guys are unlikely to get a character sheet of their own, and are not going to be with the party permanently (guarding the ship, or going off on personal quests, etc), it's been decided that it actually makes it easier to just give 'em accounts if they'll be around for more than a couple of threads.
So! The sudden influx of NPC registrations means far less than you might imagine. Just thought I'd throw that out there for those of you that might've been wondering.
