Unfortunately, they couldn't make it. The edge of the hole simply crumbled away as Brandy clawed at it for grip; if she continued trying, she would risk bringing more than just the floor down from the aged room...the unsupported walls, not far from the opening, were rather crumbly as well.

"Hmpf i guess we arnt going that way" Brandy said sliding down off the badgers back. "So which way we go? dark water or into the light? You choose Selven, my way failed and you know the most about dragons"

"You've just fell into an old man made tunnel thats very old and you still want to find a dragon?" Russano asked shaking his head slighlty as he got back down from the wall.

"Quit living in the past Russey, dragons are the way forwards for us!"

Selven was still in shock from the fall and the hard landing. She was leaning against the wall trying to get her breath back and inwardly berating herself for ever joining up with this half wit mage and her oversized pet.

"We're heading for whichever way gets us out of here. I say we go towards the light, it might be some kind way out if we have any luck."

She pushed off from the wall and began to walk down the ancient corridor. What was this passageway? Some kind of ancient cellar or mine maybe? Whatever it was it was creeping her out.

I'm used to open seas and sunlight... this is just too claustrophobic.

*Walk towards the light!*

"Or some shiny dragon treasure!" Brandy said excitedly as she climbed up onto the badgers back and patted his head. With that Russano the badger started to plod after Selven towards te shining light.

"This seems like some dodgey death cleche... walking down a dark tunnel towards the light i mean not falling into putrid water"

"Yeah well it wasnt my idea, mine failed" Brandy replied looking into the light

In a few short moments of walking, they came upon what appeared to be a huge cistern...the light they'd seen was the water itself, if that's what the liquid was. The cistern was some twenty meters from left to right, and stretched beyond sight in the distance. At the entrance, where the three now stood, there was a small staircase leading down to a rotted wooden dock, slippery with growth...and an equally rotted-looking little boat. Nonetheless, the boat WAS floating, and appeared to be large enough to hold all three of them if they wanted to take the chance. There were two oars in the boat, which (oddly enough) appeared to be rather new.

"oooh a boat!" Brandy called out excitedly as she made her way carefully down the steps, "do boats lead to dragons?" she asked thoughtfully.

"No and we arnt getting onto that thing" replied Russano following slowly behind her.

However Brandy was not paying him any attention as she skipped her way along the dock and jumped aboard.
