Appearance: A visibly thin man even through his cloak Erik wears a dark blue face wrap to conceal his features along with a blue hooded cloak and grey leather armor, a golden sun pinning the cloak around his neck. When the face wrap is removed Erik's gaunt features, slightly pointed ears and the calm shape of his face gives him a look as if he was far too serious to smile, though when he does his determination and scraggly hair, actually makes him end up looking a bit intimidating without meaning to.

Personality: Erik tends to be serious minded to the point of missing obvious points others thanks to his extreme upbringing but tends to be easy to sway and has an fairly good head on his shoulders when it comes to understanding the political state of his homeland and as such, tries to distance himself from his society as much as possible for their benefit, often acting polite to the point of appearing distant or disinterested at times though he generally doesn't really want to be so and will often try to be kind to. Erik's most base desire is to rule over a quiet lull much like his father had, knowing full well if he were to succeed his father this would clearly not be the case.

Abilities: Training extensively in etiquette, fencing, and survival Erik has done his best to become the ideal king for his country, however his proof of succession is somewhat dubious as he has not inherited the family gift of sunlight, instead gaining the ability to create and correct time disturbances. Using his sword and dagger he can perform quick rituals to alter time to create records of events that never occurred to force them to occur, erase records of things that happened, duplicate records to reinforce or empower himself and others. However what his power is, isn't full on time control so much as timeline alteration. In addition Erik can produce records of events that never occurred IF they had a chance of occurring or revise records to have occurred to read differently and thereby rewrite the connection of the action, by manipulating Gaia's tendency to void causality violations. To start Erik can make a record saying "Erik made a sandwich" with the materials to make a sandwich on hand and Gaia will force the materials to assemble together if Erik were to try to alter a record saying "Erik drew a two and a three and botched his hand" to say "Erik draws a pair of Aces and finishes a full house" if no cards could correctly complete a full from the deck then Erik's new record would be expunged immediately without effect as no matter how the cards were dealt, no cards of this sort existed.

Exceptions exist to this rule he were to take a record saying "Erik kicked the soccer-ball as hard as he could" and repeatedly replicated the record within the same time frame as each other the duplicate records would merge, combining their energy into the new record,"Erik kicked the soccer-ball ten times harder than he could" as he can always kick as hard as normally could and the record only reads as such because he kicked as hard as he normally could ten times at once and as this is normally possible Gaia simply preserves the strength required for the actions and erases the multiple instances of Erik's action. Erik can also accelerate or decelerate actions by rearranging a record's sequence in events such as taking "Erik draws his sword, Erik Slashes with his sword. Erik cuts the tree. Erik Sheathes his sword" and rearranging the actions to say "Erik draws his sword. Erik cuts the tree. Erik slashes with his sword. Erik sheathes his sword. " Gaia will accelerate the action of Erik slashing to ensure the tree the record of the tree is cut, as normally the action violates causality as the cause of the cut has been preceded by the effect and in addition he can decelerate in a combination of Gaia's correction and his reinforcement principle by extending the duration of an action over the point where every action will be slowed to allow the initial action's extension to occur naturally.

However altering a living person's record is not only difficult but it is also incredibly dangerous as both Gaia and the soul of the target will attempt to resist the attempt to process the record, potentially backfiring and expunging the excess energy from the record into Erik's system killing him, the larger the alteration and the more hostile to the person's being the more dangerous it is. A record addition or change to something like "Erik severs Claude's head" for example would be strongly opposed by both Gaia and the victim's soul while a record change from "Claude's arm was cut open" to "Claude's arm received a shallow cut" would heal a wound and if willing the person could allow such alterations freely with only gaia's intervention, however death cannot be reversed as the connection between body and soul is something that time has no influence over nor could wounds be entirely healed without opposing the attacker's record as well. Finally Erik's dagger allows him to cleanse time and spatial distortions, such as ghosts, time loops, gravity distortions and more given enough time and effort, or at least force Gaia to begin the process sooner than usual, however if a sentient being with a soul is attached to, their magical resistance grants them enough levity to simply become weak against the force in question.

History: Erik was born into the royal family already under contention as his mother's identity was unknown and his father vehemently refused to reveal her identity for any reason when the question of the boys appearance had come up. Coupled with the fact that Erik had not inherited the family birthright Erik was given to the knights for training as it would be unlikely they would call upon him for succession, even with his father's strength deterioration, but still aware it would be best to learn the etiquette demanded if he WERE to be chosen to take the throne. A frustrated Erik grew up training with the other young nobles, often enduring the brunt of their mockery without retaliation, before finally demanding that he be allowed to see the world, since as there was no reason for him to take the throne for himself, there would be no risk in setting him loose on his own to learn of his people's plight and the plight of the other nations, that way, should he ever advise or become the ruler of his nation he would be more knowledgeable on the way to do so. Though aware he was effectively surrendering his feeble claim to the throne, his logic was circular, and he was effectively signing his death warrant should anyone discover his identity, Erik did so without hesitation and earning the admiration of the warrior Duke and duchess Marrok and Cyneward, Marrok teaching him how to live off the land and Cyneward accompanying him as her fathers had done before, allowing the boy to send off on his own to carve out his own destiny.
