Clash of Ki, Kane Vs. His girlfri-er- Hinata

It's been awhile since the close call the two had against Dr. Freak's robots, and Kane suggested to Hinata that they have a friendly spar to try and help each other improve so that if Doctor Freak attacks them again, that they would be able to defeat him without needing Matilda. Finding some time to themselves on a forest-like planet Matilda sent the two for research, Kane asked Hinata for the spar in the clearing.


"Hmm...I wonder when she'll come.." Kane thought to himself, still wearing the kung-fu clothes that Hinata gave to him, "...I also wonder if she's still wearing her hair in those odangos..." he chuckled to himself for like a second, but then became serious again, "I have to get better and stronger to protect her...I found the reason to fight...now I need to get stronger so that I can protect the one I care about..."

[SOS Mage]

From the distance deep within the forest, a very strong signature of ki that Gamefreak should be able to recognize by now was approaching before it made a turn...

[Lulzmaster]

"Hmm?" Kane said, "..Hinata...you okay?"

[SOS Mage]

The rustling stopped as foot steps from the recognizable signature started to approach him instead.

"Mister Kane, are you there?" the familiar voice asked. "I feel your signature."

Suddenly, as expected, Hinata walked out from the forest to find Gamefreak.

[Lulzmaster]

"Yep, I'm right here, Hinata!" Gamefreak cheerfully said, and then looked to see what Hinata was wearing and her hair style, "..are you ready for that bout I told you about, Hinata?"

[SOS Mage]

She was still wearing her standard outfit as well as the hair bun hairstyle she had since their escape from Doctor Freak.

"I am up for a little friendly spar myself," Hinata answered before she tilted her head. "I take it that you'd need more experience, huh?"

[Lulzmaster]

"Well, I would like some experience yes to try and get stronger...after all, I wasn't really much of a help back there when we were fighting that robot...I plan to change that and become stronger." Kane said to Hinata.

[SOS Mage]

"Mhm, I did noticed your foot work was a bit sloppy myself," Hinata replied with a cheery smile. "Shall was find a remote area where we'd have enough room for our spar then?"

[Lulzmaster]

"Yes, let's go." Gamefreak said, "...do you happen to know of such a place, or should we look for one together?"

[SOS Mage]

"I believe we can find one together," Hinata suggested. "We can take it up to the air to have a clearer view as to where we wish to go. Do you agree?"

[Lulzmaster]

"Yep, I agree!" Gamefreak said, "..all right, let's find one together!"

He then boosted into the air to look for a place big enough for their spar.

[SOS Mage]

Hinata did the same thing as she flew alongside Gamefreak in search for a sufficient area to spar... Soon enough, Hinata spotted one from afar and pointed at what appeared to be a sandy island far situated in the ocean with very little vegetation or life in general.

"Look!" Hinata said after she slown down in flight. "What do you think about that island? Does it look suitable to you as well?"

[Lulzmaster]

"Yes, it does. Good eye, Hinata!" Kane said, and then flew to the island.

[SOS Mage]

Hinata also descended towards the island, landing close to the center of the landmass to claim her starting position in the spar...

"Well then," Hinata said as she assumed an elegant fighting stance while facing Gamefreak. "Are you ready?"

[Lulzmaster]

"Yep, I'm ready...you may have the first move!" Gamefreak said to Hinata and assumed his own fighting stance as well.

[SOS Mage]

Hinata nodded as she took in a deep breath before exhaling, surrounding herself in a veil of spiritual aura as she began to approach Gamefreak slowly...

[Lulzmaster]

Gamefreak then jumped backwards while firing several Kaiser Waves at Hinata at fast velocites...

[SOS Mage]

Hinata, unleashing a rapid flurry of palm thrusts to deflect the Kaiser Waves off to the sides, hopped forward to make a quick and abrupt advance to approach Gamefreak, attempting to engage him at close range...

[Lulzmaster]

Gamefreak would then try a Ki-Charged Uppercut to try and intercept the airborne Hinata...

[SOS Mage]

Hinata parried the uppercut once she landed in front of Gamefreak and immediately countered with a knife-hand thrust infused with ki aimed at her opponent's chest. Specifically, she was targeting his pressure point in order to temporarily disable his respective left upper arm.
