Hello all! wave.gif

Just wanted to post a few general guidelines - just a few things for new members to bear in mind when posting...We don't really have problems on here, but it doesn't harm to post some guidelines anyway smile.gif
  • Please don't use text language, and try to use correct spelling and grammar (use capital letters in the appropriate places, punctuation etc) as far as you can and don't write whole posts in BLOCK CAPITALS. This just keeps the forum neat, tidy and sophisticated and makes posts easier to read smile.gif
  • You don't need to register more than once - if you would like to change your name just PM me and I can do that through my Admin CP. If you have forgotten your password then please email me on scent_of_the_roses@hotmail.com and I can help you out.
  • I don't want to impose loads of restrictions on signatures, but I would ask that you don't put more than three banners/rows of icons in there so that you don't have to scroll through loads of images to read posts. Also, for the sake of those who may have small screens, if you could make each banner no longer than 600 pixels that would be fab, and similarly have no more than about 6 icons in a row. There is no particular rule about text in signatures, as long as you don't have like whole paragraphs in there, it's fine!
  • If you want to use an icon or banner made by a forum member in your signature then please ask their permission first, unless they have stated that you don't need to!
  • Avoid making pointless posts or spamming - don't say something for the sake of posting, but only post if you have a constructive comment to make.
  • You don't need to double-post - if you have something to say and no one else has replied, then just edit your previous post (unless it has been ages since your last post, or something).
  • Everyone should have the freedom to express their own opinions, so long as you do so with respect to others. People are bound to have differing opinions, but try to respect that and not let topics turn into arguments!
  • Hopefully this will never happen, but I do need to say that I reserve the right to close/delete any topics and edit/delete any posts aren't suitable or that breach these rules.
I'm not saying that you don't already but if people can remember this when posting it will make sure the forum remains a friendly place biggrin.gif

If anyone has any problems, questions or suggestions for the site then feel free to post them in this forum or PM me smile.gif

Thanks!

Emmie xxxx
