Ahhh! I knew I recognized the DocRock name from somewhere. I've seen a ton of your vid's on youtube. You do incredible work. What movie maker do you use? I've got a Pinnacle Studio 11 system, personally. I've tried coming up with some of the effect styles that the Vega and Adobe players have, but they're completely seperate formats. I really need to update some of my effects.

Anyway, much like you, I can ramble. [chuckles] What I meant to say was, that vid was way cool. Nice site you've got going, too. Annnd... don't know if you have these or not, but since you like the hat shots...

Aww, thanks so much, thats so sweet. I use Sony Vegas Pro 8.....learning as I go :P I remember when I first got it I was like....O.K, and this does what? :P

I do, but I never share my vids. :ph43r: I'm ninja boy with that crap. I use to, but then they started getting removed thanks to Youtube deleting the song or saying the footage was from some Fox Network gig, so... I just put a lockbox on my stuff and made everything invisible on my account. No embedding or anything, minus a couple, but the vids are just for my own personal inspiration with a series of novels I'm writing with another co-writer. We're working mostly on the books and just keeping whatever vids we make for ourselves now. :( Sorry about that.

By the way, what's LJ? I've heard of Imeem and Vimeo. Is LJ another vid site or something? And yes, your vids are way cool. I love that Love Song Requiem one you did awhile back with Ray and Neela. And the Almost Lovers video. I swear, I've seen a ton of your stuff. HEH!

Thanks. I'm in the process of uploading more stuff over there as we speak. I just posted up about 3 pages of stills from A Walk To Remember and a couple Promos. I'm gettin' to the Get Over It caps right at the moment.

B) I shoulda known. Livejournal. LJ. Just didn't tie the two. :P Nahhh, I keep my stuff fairly private most of the time. I use to have roleplay profiles on myspace a few years ago, but then I gave that up. Got into writing these books with my friend instead. All of our stuff is kept hidden now and saved to disc.

But, I'll be sure to make more fanart stuff. I do that on occasion, just for the hell of it anyhow.

Hell yeah! Make more! I'm trying to get my caps to behave. They're not comin' out clear just yet. When I grab them out of my movie maker, they're not the best quality for some reason. I use the Pinnacle Studio 11.0 which is suppose to be one of the better kinds. Not as good as what you've got, but it's still "supposadly" up there. But I gotta make the damn caps to where they're 300 in width to look decent. I love the ones that Vero_West put up in that Strange Bedfellows episode. They're nice and clean cut and larger sized. I'm just toying with my movie maker right now to use different formats and see what I can come up with. If you have any specific settings or whatever that you know of, I could use the help. This thing's bein' as stubborn as a damn mule. [kicks it]

By the way, can we cuss in here? I wasn't sure if we should watch our language. I've heard some people do it, but -- I'm new and didn't wanna offend anyone, so I've been watchin' my tongue. :P See? Hehe.

I don't have anything against swearing....but I have to hold back sometimes cos if I'm angry I can get a little...shall we say passionate? :P

Erm, well, I capped Haunted, the ER episode and WWDIS and to do that I used a program called "gadwin print screen" and windows movie maker. All you do is play the episode or whatever it is that you want to cap and hint the printscreen button and it will save an image in a folder for you.

Although, you would have to crop them....which is what I will need to do before I post any caps....but I say they would be good quality.

I've never really capped anything using WMM or Sony Vegas before....I was too lazy :P

Ohhhh! I getcha. Huh. Well, I don't know if that'll work from mine, 'cause they image size is already fairly small. I wonder if there's a way to view it enlarged a bit.

I'm attempting to save up sections as gif animations and then just resize the frames in my photoplus thing. And I can grab them up frame by frame, but it automatically clips them at 640x480, and yeah... just doesn't look right. The messed up thing about Pinnacle Studio is that it won't let me have WMM on my computer. I signed a license agreement. It cancelled out my ability to load any other movie maker and will freeze up on me if I try. [insert swear words here]

Wow. I feel like a complete novice. I cannot believe I just had this sitting at my fingertips the whole damn time. I've seriously never thought of using the media player to grab caps. All I needed to do was hit Print Screen, go to the Serif Photoplus thing, click paste, and voila! Huge ass screencap that's way more clear than from the movie maker.
