Okay, mental note- get the fucking kid on a scale.

Seriously, Klaudijs had absolutely no idea how this could keep happening to his son. Everytime that he picked the little boy up the kid just got heavier and heavier until now the worst of the worst had happened- Filip had become dead weight. He had no car, he'd never gotten his liscence, leaving him to carry his child around with him when he refused to walk from place to place. It kept him in shape, or at least Klaud's lower half in shape, but carrying a five year old around with him for so long wasn't something that he was used to. At one point Filip hadn't minded when Klaudijs had left him with a friend or someone that he knew when he had to work and the child didn't have to go to his day care type thing, but recently Fil had become much more, well, demanding.

Boy could the kid scream, and for hours too. Klaud couldn't remember any other time when he'd wanted to shoot himself in the face as badly when his son was screaming away- well, he could but those times in his life he kept private. But it was to be expected of Filip, Klaudijs knew enough about how other children were and then how children with Fil's problem were. They just had some of the cutest little habits and quirks, and Klaud just thought that his son's attachment to this little stuffed giraffe was the most adorable thing in the world. Well, only when it wasn't being thrown at him.

    Anyways.

Obviously, Klaudijs had to work today there would have been no other reason for him to go to the resturaunt. He did have a life outside of Kraven's, believe it or not. Although recently it seemed ti be disappearing, it still existed. Klaud's son had been taking up most of his time recently, so much so that he was begining to lose track of his own weight. And if you know Klaudijs well enough, then you would realize what a big thing it was for the young man. It was most certainly good that he was no longer fixtated on his weight, but now that it had moved onto his son.. Well, Klaudijs had made sure that Filip definetly lost weight. He didn't really care what he had to do to make sure tha this child stayed thin, Klaud truly thought that he was doing the right thing by refusing to feed the boy on some days.

But here we are, Klaudijs walking into the lobby, his son in arms feeling more like a bag of bricks then the little stick thing that he actually was. Fil had refused to let Klaud leave him with some other person that day- the boy had screamed, kicked, cried, just doing everything that he could to make Klaudijs stay with him that day. In the end however, it had been decided that Fil would just come with Klaud that day and sit where ever there was room. And if this was a problem, then Klaudijs would just take Filip to some friend's house to look after him. Anyways. Now in the process of turning down his Ipod, which seemed to have been blasting something along the lines of the Misfits or something while he had walked over to the resturaunt, he quickly took the headphones out of his ears.

Setting the boy down on the ground with only a slight struggle, Klaudijs sighed softly. Almost immediatly the young boy grabbed onto his father's leg, while holding his little toy giraffe in what may have been a death grip. "Come on, Fil, let go," Klaud demanded, trying to move away from the boy who obliged only for a moment to allow Klaud to do this sort of side step thing to get out of the way of anyone that might be behind him- only to run right into another person.

    Oh. My. GOD. Stuffed giraffe.

That was all that Mahri'd noticed when she skipped inside the Kraven, once again making up time for hiding from her duties as a busgirl - she had boobs, and they were big enough to let everyone know that she was a fucking girl; she swore if she heard 'busboy' again she'd rip that person a new one - despite the fact that, well, it wasn't her shift. She still thought that they'd get her to do extra work or something on her own time. But, no! She worked graveyard. And this really wasn't graveyard, was it?

No. It was daytime, and it was apparently a Gymboree. And Teddy was a jungle gym.

She'd noticed this after he'd knocked into her short fram and she'd locked her arms around his waist in a hug - seeing that was all she could reach at that height.

Despite the fact that she really couldn't hear what was going on because of the rather large DJ-esque headphones perched on each of her ears, she could tell that, well, something was wrong, and that his nephew was pissed.

... Yep; nephew. Mahri'd never expect him to have a kid. Not because he was gay - pfft, fuck that - but only 'cos she never expected anyone to have a kid. Just like she never expected certian people to be whores or die or get arrested - the girl had a set standard for certian people, and when they, well, surpassed it, it meant the end of the universe for her rather small, fragile, and naive mind.

Squeezing tigther on Klaudijs' waist, squealing a hello to the man, she immediately set him upright and then kneeled at the child, poking at the doll in hopes that her childish demeanor would give her admittance to play with the giraffe.

It was adorable and reminded her of Vladimir Solovyov, a Russian friend of hers with a giraffe doll just the same and a broken eye. So, naturally, a siren went off in the girl's head and she wanted to dwell in the past; she hadn't seen Vladi in quite a damn while.

"... Can I see it?" She asked, pulling off the headphones, turning off the iPod and immediately biting her lip in anticipation.

    Yes. Yes? Please say yessssss.

The sudden squeals and hugs really give Klaudijs a big hint to who it had been that he had collided with.

Unless of course Filips had managed to grow quite a bit older, boobs, and an ability to be affectionate in a matter of five seconds. No wait- the boy was still somewhat clinging to his leg as well as the giraffe and there appeared to be no immediate physical or mental changes. Therefore it could only be- "Cupcake!" the man squealed, kind of squeezing her head in an attempted hug as he regained his footing. While Klaud was tugging down on his shirt slightly, Fil had let go of his leg. Glancing down at his son for a moment or two, and then two Mahri he asked, "have you met Filips before?"

He was completely unaware that Cupcake didn't know that he had a son, although he was quite certain he had told her on several occasions about him. After all, Klaudijs did have a habit of complaining about his son's strange little quirks and ways about him. About how annoying Filips lack of attention to Klaud, and how it often seemed like the kid was just tuning him out. Most times though, Klaudijs complained about how Fil's autisim was a bitch and how much he didn't like have to comply with the kid's special needs.

Of maybe Klaud had just assumed that she'd known.

Rolling his eyes when she kneeled before his child, asking to play with his toy, Klaud said, "good luck with that. I'm his dad and he won't even let me look at it half the time- he thinks I'm going to steal it." The child looked up at Klaud while he spoke, eyebrows raising and then back at Mahri. It was true- the one that Filips had let Klaudijs play around with the giraffe the man had misplaced it, and it had taken ages to find. Well, maybe only a few hours but Fil had never forgiven Klaud for that.

In a hesitant manner, Filips held out the giraffe to her while still clinging tightly to it. He wasn't going to let go of it- he had easily decided that in a matter of three point seven two seconds, but he would at least let Mahri look at it. And maybe, maybe if she was lucky she could touch it. "Not yours," Filips stated in a simplistic manner, bliniking slowly as he said it, "no taking."

Klaudijs nibbled his lower lip, seeming bored with this whole thing and yet happy that the child had actually responded. "Normally he wouldn't even have looked at you," he stated, "so you're lucky he's talking to you and letting you look at his toy."

So maybe there was just a little jealousy in that statement.
