It is 1946. Dumbledore has defeated Grindelwald in one of the most epic battles of all time. A year later, wizards everywhere are just beginning to feel safe. That is, until there are several reports of murders within the ministry. Who is the cause of this? Many believe it is the work of former Grindelwald supporters. But who knows? It could be the next power-hungry monster ready to take Grindelwalds place.

DIAGON ALLEY Diagon Alley is a street in London. It is something of an economic hub to th wizarding world. It is home to Ollivander's, makers of magic wands since 382 BC as well as the goblin-run Gringotts Bank and Madam Malkin's Robes For All Occasions. Other establishments include Flourish & Blotts bookstore, Eeylops' Owl Emporium, Quality Quidditch Supplies and The Leaky Cauldron, a famous wizarding pub and inn. For those shopping for Hogwarts equipment, Diagon Alley serves all needs.
KNOCKTURN ALLEY Leading off of the more savoury Diagon Alley, Knockturn Alley is a dark and seedy alleyway in London and which is frequented largely by Dark Wizards. Many of the shops in Knockturn Alley are devoted to the Dark Arts; the most notable is Borgin & Burkes, which sells sinister and dangerous objects.
WISTERIA LANE Wisteria Lane is a very popular street in London for young witches and wizards. During the day, there are trendy shops and boutiques. Also, there are quite a few restaraunts and outdoor cafes that are great for people watching. At night, the whole street is lit from the bright lights of a plethora of night clubs, bars, and theaters.
MINISTRY OF MAGIC The Ministry has seven departments and many minor offices to deal with different aspects of the wizarding world. Different departments communicate through "Inter-departmental memos", pale violet paper aeroplanes that will fly to their destination. The British Ministry of Magic headquarters is in central London, deep underground.
ST. MUNGO'S HOSPITAL FOR MAGICAL MALADIES AND INJURIES St Mungo's is located in London. To enter the premises, one has to step through the window of what appears to be a derelict department store called Purge and Dowse Ltd. The exteriors of the hospital are red-bricked and dirty, which is the complete opposite of the interiors. Inside, everything is very neat and looks exactly as a hospital should.
AZKABAN Azkaban has a justifiably horrible reputation. Its remote location is more of a precaution than a safety measure—the mass presence of Dementors renders the inmates incapable of happiness and forces them to relive their worst memories, as they become gradually helpless and very often severely insane. Many inmates simply stop eating and eventually die of starvation. As dementors are extremely difficult even to injure—the only spell effective against them is the Patronus Charm, which only repels them—Azkaban was long considered escape-proof, until Sirius Black escaped.
HOGWARTS CASTLE Hogwarts Castle is a wondrous, magical building with many towers and turrets. It is home to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. If Muggles approach the castle, all they will see is a mouldering ruin with a sign warning them to keep out, that it's unsafe. Hogwarts is built in a forested area, directly next to a fairly large lake, in the highlands of Scotland. The main entrance to Hogwarts is a set of huge oak doors which face more or less toward the west. The lake is to the south of the castle. The forest is very large, and parts of it extend around to the west of the castle.
EXMOOR NATIONAL PARK Exmoor National Park is the home of a new Quidditch stadium, covered with an Invisibility Charm (fans were advised to collect Re-Visibility Spectacles from the ticket sellers so they would be able to see the stadium and the match). Things didn't work out very well with the Invisibility Charm, however, and fans complained that they couldn't see their seats, let alone the match. As a result, the Invisibility Charm has been lifted and the Ministry is going to try a special "Ministry of Magic Fog"
HOGSMEADE Hogsmeade is the only entirely wizarding village in Britain. It's a picturesque village of little thatched cottages and shops. During the holiday season, enchanted candles hang in the trees. Hogwarts is located quite near the village; a road runs around the school grounds to Hogsmeade Station, where the Hogwarts Express stops to disembark the students at the start of term.
