If you're looking for the DVDs, and you have at least a few bucks, check out Rightstuf.com. They have really cheap stuff, like the Slayers season one (the first 26 episodes) for $18. Once we get back, and I get the stuff I need for Treasurer-type stuff we can look into maybe getting some for the club, providing we have the budget.

Aside from that I have some newer unlicensed stuff (Eden of the East being the only one I've been watching past ep. 1), Dead Leaves and Lain (both of which have been watched I know at least since I got here) if you want to use any of those.

Okay, thought to do a quick search just now, and the following anime are available via Netflix, so I can get on disc out at a time to watch:
Battle Royale (can also stream from Netflix)
Read or Die
When Cicadas Cry (named When They Cry on American DVD release)
Baccano

Maria Holic anime is unlicensed in the US., so do with that what you will.
Spice and Wolf is out of print, and uber-expensive on Amazon.
Grave Of The Fireflies we have in the Lending Library.
Howl's, I know Danielle has a copy, maybe she'll let you use it, others might also have it.
Cat's Return I know somebody had last time we watched it.
Slayers I was immensely confused when searching for on Netflix.

I hope that settles at least a few issues.

Thanks :3! I know at least one person who has Slayers so that I think I'm set for...I also am trying to make money over the summer, so I should be able to get a few things...^^;...Spice and Wolf is only out in Japan, until December so that is guna be shown early >w>;
I know my boyfriend is in love with Cicada ad Battle Royal...and he said he can get me some anime if I pay him back and find it cheap :3
I also have The Cat Returns...

I just know a lot of people have anime, so might as well borrow them first if I can, yah know? :3

Understandable, but if you need anything released in the US, let me know and I'll check Netflix, which I already subscribe to, and rarely use the actual DVDs. They even have some things not released in the US, like Battle Royale.

- Read or Die OVA (3)

- Grave of the Fireflies

I have Read or Die, Howl's Moving Castle, and Grave of the Fireflies. I also have lots of other stuff... Of course, I also no longer go to Oswego, and wouldn't be able to visit on the weekdays. If it was on the weekends, I'd be willing to go, but I just can't otherwise, because of work. I'll try and keep an eye out, but if I don't see any updates online, I probably won't be there... Unless someone contacts me directly.

Ash,

Since we all watched and enjoyed Genshiken last semester, you should consider Kujibiki Unbalance. That's the fake anime they were watching in Genshiken.

There is a Kujibiki Unbalance OVA that is only 3, 30-minute episodes. It's based on the short clips we saw last semester in the Genshiken series. I've seen two episodes and it's hillarious.

They also made an entire Kujibiki Unbalance series. It's 12 episodes long. I've seen the first couple. It's different from the OVA. They switch around some of the characters, add new characters and change the story a little bit, but it's still funny and wild.

The episodes are less than half an hour long. If we watch 4 epsidoes per meeting, it will only take 3 weeks to watch.

I think both of these shows are licensed. Either the club or someone would have to pick them up.

Sounds like a good idea! I completely forgot about that! I'll keep the spot open for other suggestions and bring it up in a vote type thing a few weeks before the open spot :3!
Also, who are you XD; It was only after I signed up that I realized usernames arn't very helpful @w@
