Hi, I'm Don, a freshman. This was seriously the first thing (well, not by name obviously, as I didn't know it yet) I asked about at orientation, and I'm glad we have such a great organization.

Hey Don, nice to meet you. I can't say I know who you are just yet (so many new people, it's hard to remember everyone), but I hope to soon.

I'm also interested in what your Orientation Leaders (or whatever they call them now) said about the club, if they even knew anything about it.

Ditto on what Shawn said, personally I have never heard us mentioned on tours, orientations, etc. It'd be interesting to know what's being said when we are asked about by new students.

Well, I went to orientation and I knew most campuses have clubs such as ours, so I inquired...and the "Laker Leaders" didn't quite have an answer for me...so after I was standing in line to get my ID card I walked around the gym to the various tables (got parking pass paperwork, gym membership info, etc.) and there was a flier for the clubs fair...in which I marked everything that sounded promising and asked about them all...

As I'm an English major and considering switching/double majoring with Creative Writing, "Storyteller's Guild" sounded amazing, and when I found out it was all this wrapped up in one I was rather amazed.
