The planet of Amaire is made up of many kingdoms, though two of the most noteable of those are the Kingdoms of Charellis and Witropa.

Charellis was once a peaceful kingdom that would lend its aide to others who needed it. They were prosperous and the lands were fertile which of course made others envious, including Witropa. A war was started between the two kingdoms that would continue to rage for two hundred and thirty years.

About twenty years ago, the leaders of both lands signed a peace treaty that would bring the two kingdoms together and hopefully maintain the peace. Of course, the Crown Prince of Charellis and the Crown Princess of Witropa had to marry to do so.

Twenty years have passed since the signing of the treaty and things are beginning to get back to what they were prior to the war. The time for the wedding is drawing near, and there are mixed feelings between the lands on the joining of the two kingdoms. Where does your heart lie?

The land that makes up the planet of Amaire was once all joined together, but as the years passed it was splintered into many different kingdoms. Some were small but yet still managed to survive somehow. Others were quite large and thrived. Two of the most notable kingdoms on Amaire are Charellis and Witropa, which just happen to be neighboring kingdoms.

Charellis was once a peaceful kingdom that would often lend their aide to the surrounding kingdoms when it was necessary. They were prosperous and the lands were thriving. It almost seemed like nothing could go wrong for them which should have been the first sign really. There were others that were a little jealous of their prosperity and their fertile lands, which they wanted for their own. Witropa was one such kingdom.

Tension between the two kingdoms grew until one day it became too great to bear. About two hundred and fifty years ago, war broke out. It was a war that would eclipse almost any other in the history of Amaire. Fighting ravaged the lands, leaving both kingdoms as only shadows of what they had once been yet it seemed like the fighting would never end.

But like all things, even this war must eventually come to an end. After seeing the destruction that had been laid upon the two kingdoms, the rulers finally agreed to meet in the hopes of talking peace. It took many months, but eventually a ceasefire was called and a treaty was signed. Both sides wanted to try and ensure that fighting would not just break out again once they were gone so they had come up with an idea that would hopefully keep that from ever happening.

The treaty stated that Prince Alexander, Crown Prince of Charellis and Princess Moira, Crown Princess of Witropa, were to be wed as soon as she came of age. During the twenty years that passed after the treaty was signed, both kingdoms tried to regain some semblance of peace and order. The mages seemed to have to work over time to coax the lands back into the fertile lands that they once were and it took the citizens a little bit of time to adjust.

The time for Prince Alexander and Princess Moira's wedding is drawer nearer and though many people are thrilled to have it happen since it will truly mark the joining of the two kingdoms, there are those who wish to stop it. Most of their reasons are personal and it isn't a large uprising, though that doesn't mean that there are not some plots in the works. Where does your heart lie?
